What does a church in Mozambique look like?

The Evangelical Assembly of God church did not look like these pictures! It had mud walls and a straw roof.

‘We started to build a new church in 2009. But we had no money for the materials and work was very slow.’

Pastor Carlos did Umoja training with Kubatsirana.

Through the Bible Studies he realised that they shouldn’t wait to receive money to build.

Instead they should use what they had already!

‘We know this happened thanks to Umoja, which opened the minds of people in our church. Very soon we will be holding our services in a brand new House of God.’
