Welcome to the 2nd Concours Masters which this year celebrates the 70th anniversary of one of the world’s most iconic sports car manufacturers, Porsche. Launched in 2017 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Ferrari, Concours Masters was an instant hit with owners and enthusiasts from around the world, meeting at the spectacular Blenheim Palace to show their prized possessions and indulge in their shared passion. This year, the stage is set for something even more special as we proudly welcome this beloved German marque to our new position at the foot of the Palace.
Whilst it is competitive, Concours Masters is more an opportunity to celebrate a particular marque, and so on display is a timeline of models from the earliest 356 to the latest 911 GT2 RS and everything in between. In total, some 70 models will tell the story of how the marque evolved and how it has grown to become one of the most revered marques on the road and on the track.
It’s more than just the cars however, as we immerse you in one of the most convivial, intimate, yet relaxed environments you could wish to experience. Quintessentially English and set against the backdrop of ‘Britain’s Greatest Palace’ with Lobster and Pommery Champagne, it is a very special blend of Concours competition entwined with entertainment, and I sincerely hope you will join us and add to this wonderful automotive occasion.

My family and I are once again delighted to be hosting the UK’s most exclusive automotive garden party, Salon Privé, which now in its 13th year, returns to Blenheim Palace once again.
As committed petrol heads ourselves, we look forward to this annual treat with great anticipation, but no more so than this year, as Salon Privé moves to the foot of the Palace steps.
As it has done previously, Blenheim Palace will again make a magnificent setting for you to relax, socialise and enjoy the glamour of this very special Concours event.
We are delighted to welcome guests from all over the world and hope that you all have an unforgettable visit, enjoying not only the event but also the surrounding Park and Gardens; the perfect backdrop for this special occasion.

Our 2018 Concours Masters celebrates the iconic German sportscar manufacturer, Porsche, presenting a tribute to Porsche’s 70th anniversary. Although a Concours in its own right, we take a more relaxed and subjective approach to the judging rather than the close scrutiny of a traditional Concours event.
This year’s Judges have been carefully selected for their knowledge and expertise of the Porsche marque, combined with those who have a passion and life-long interest in these iconic cars. As Chief Judge, Derek Bell MBE will lead this prestigious judging panel. Over 25 trophies in total will be awarded during the day, with the much-coveted Owners’ Choice presented at the Saturday evening Gala Dinner.

BOODLES LADIES’ DAY
Friday 31st August
Boodles Ladies’ Day is your first day at Salon Privé and having parked your Concours Porsche along the Palace-front carriageway, you may amble the lawns at your leisure.
It is a day for you to enjoy, without the pressures of judging and competition; to dress up, stand out and shine alongside stunning lawns packed full of modern supercars, hypercars and classic cars. In spite of the horsepower on display, it is a uniquely tranquil experience; unhurried, relaxing, elegant and stylish and with a selection of sensational Boodles jewellery to try on, it is the perfect day out.
As the day draws to a close, all the classic engines fire up for the magnificent finale parade of the Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance.
Tomorrow, Saturday, is then your big day as we look forward to celebrating 70 Years of Porsche.

CONCOURS MASTERS TROPHY DAY
Saturday 1st September
From one of the most legendary sportscars ever produced, the 356 Roadster, we shall chart the history of this incredible marque through 550, through 911, tracking its racing pedigree as we go. There will be surprises at every turn and the world’s top Porsche collectors will descend on Blenheim Palace this late summer to share stories and enthuse in the passion.
Your morning will commence with the judging process, via a hand-picked field of international Porsche experts. Thereafter you are invited to the sponsors’ private luncheon within the Chubb Pavilion, where you will be treated to a delicious menu and of course Pommery champagne.
The intensity then builds as the Concours Masters’ Trophies are presented during the afternoon session, with a full Porsche parade, before it’s time to get ready for the black-tie Porsche Gala Dinner, held within The Great Hall of Blenheim Palace.

PORSCHE GALA DINNER
Saturday 1st September
Within your Concours Masters Owner's Package, you are invited to the Porsche Gala Dinner – ‘An Evening with Porsche Legend Derek Bell MBE’. This prestigious event is held inside the Great Hall at Blenheim Palace in the presence of His Grace, the Duke of Marlborough.
A sophisticated black-tie evening begins with a Pommery Champagne reception in the Duke’s private dining room, followed by a spectacular 4-course dinner held in the Great Hall.
The Owners’ Choice finale presentation closes this celebratory highpoint of the Concours with trophy presentations on the South Lawn of Blenheim Palace.
We hope you will join us in this one-off special celebration, paying homage to Porsche and its 70 years of reign.

WHERE TO STAY
Woodstock is a charming, historic English town and a crown jewel of the Cotswolds. With this rich history, spectacular scenery and beautiful architecture, Woodstock provides the perfect retreat when visiting Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace.
Although Woodstock is not a large place, it does offer a number of hotels within the town itself as well as the surrounding area. The hotel types vary enormously from the impressive Macdonald Bear, Crown and Feathers to the town’s many gastro pubs, The Kings Arms and Marlborough Arms to name a few. About 3 miles outside of Woodstock, there is also Killingworth Castle which offers very comfortable, stylish accommodation.
