With SSD (Smart Soft Defrost) heat pump delivers heat continuously at

outdoor temp above +5°C.

Defrostning is performed at three

different ways.

1. At outdoor temp above +5°C, fan speed at maximum while the compressor

speed is limited until defrosting is completed. This allows continuously heat

during defrost mode.

2. If ”Silent mode” is activated, fan speed is unchanged while compressor is off

during defrost mode.

3. At colder outdoor temperatures, below +5°C, the heat pump change refrigerant

circuit to hot gas defrosting, suitable for inverter controlled compressor.

We don´t need a compressor heater to avoid unvaporized refrigerant

to reaching and damaging the compressor.

The motor of the compressor generates heat which may possibly

remain unvaporized refrigerant in the compressor to evaporate.

Smart hot water switch controls the speed of the heat

Software controlled power guard

When 1-phase heat pumps installed in 3-phase houses, you can

monitor the power on each phase. L1 and L2 is connected to the

electrical heater, L3 to the heat pump. The power guard controls the

software and if necessary limit the electrical heater or compressor so

that not the main fuse blows

when other power demanding

devices are used.
