software and hardware integration designThe RW UPS uses an innovation sof tware procedure control model, not only to reduce the volume, but also to reduce the failure rate. With the RS232 por ts, you can modif y the output voltage and frequency without opening the machine.

high input power factorThe power input uses power factor correction technology (PFC), which makes the input power factor over 0.95 and completely removes the UPSs pollution to mains.

wide input voltage and frequenc y rangeThe input voltage range is 120-300VAC (-45% +40%). This is useful where the power environment is not well regulated. Moreover it reduces discharge time of the batter y and enables an ex tended batter y life. The wide input power range (47-53Hz) ensures that the UPS can supply power together with the generator. The UPS output is pure and steady.

strong charge abilityWhen the UPS is connected to the mains, there is a 5-10A initial charging current to batter y.

Automatic start-upUpon a power failure, should the batteries totally discharge and the UPS shut down, upon return of mains power, the RW will automatically restar t and goes to normal operation without manual inter vention.

sine wave outputWhether under the mains inver t or batter y mode, the output wave is always low distor tion and pure sine wave. It can protect loading equipment.

static bypassOnline static bypass technology provides strong anti-overload ability and protection when UPS fault.

n + X parallel redundant systemThis means more than one UPS will protect your load at any time. In this system when a UPS faulters, the other UPS will provide stable and uninterruptable power for the load. This will improve the reliability of the system and ex tend the life of the UPS.

high efficienc y of operationThe ef f iciency is nearly 90% when the UPS is run with full load which reduces the cost of operation greatly. This series UPS adopts IGBT technology to gain high ef f iciency of the inver ter and allows the customer to choose work mode to reduce the cost of operation.

wide input rangeThe wide input range from 176VAC to 276VAC or 304VAC to 476VAC can suit harsh environments.

unique designThis UPS series is based on the new concepts of UPSs. The modern and compact models adopt advanced control technology, greatly improve the density of power and provide the best power protection for the network.

dsP control technologyThis series UPS adopts DSP and MCU to control and inspect the UPS. This includes UPS operation, batter y management, auto star t and turn of f UPS, load tests and some other processes. The UPS transfer between bypass and inver ter will not af fect the load. When there is a UPS fault, it will transfer to bypass by itself and alarm.

Advanced displayUPS can display the operation information accurately and can set some parameters by the panel. It can display all UPS parameters monitored by remote panel; set the discharge time, inspects faults automatically and displays them on LCD. The other information is input and output voltage; input and output current; the peak of input current; charge voltage and current PFC voltage etc.

In this way, it is possible to manage three-phase or single-phase input- or output voltages of fering the classic options of three/three phase, three/single phase, single/three phase and single/single phase versions and much more: you can have both single-phase and three-phase output lines at the same time, or two or more single-phase lines, even with dif ferent powers.

For each of these conf igurations, you can have complete or par tial redundancy, for example a normal (or redundant) three-phase output line can coexist with a redundant (or normal) single-phase output line. Each module is f it ted with a micro controller capable of super vising the electronic circuit boards main functions, monitoring correct operation, dialoguing with the main control board and signalling any malfunction.

The modular philosophy has also been applied to the batteries, supplied in individual slide out drawers. This makes for ex tremely easy maintenance/replacement, with no need to switch the UPS of f (hot-swappable drawers) as well as making it ex tremely easy to select and/or expand UPS autonomy.

The modular conf iguration drastically simplif ies the question of technical ser vice, which becomes limited to replacing the power and/ or batter y drawers and only takes a few minutes time. High Levels of Redundancy

Thanks to the construction technology of the TRIMOD HE UPS systems, you can set various redundancy levels so that maximum continuity of service is always guaranteed.

In a system with a threephase power supply and a single-phase load there will be no power loss if one of the modules fails, as the power will be delivered by the other operational modules.

In a system with three independent outputs, it is possible to set the redundancy on the single phases. If one of the power modules fails, the modules in the same phase take over for the defective module.

    ARCHIMOD UPS

Expandable, modular architecture UPS, power from 20 to 120kVA, in a 19" rack cabinet.

    ARCHImOD Three-Phase modular UPs

The system comprises a set of standard, pre-assembled components which simplif y and optimise the design and building of infrastructures.

Control moduleEquipped with a microprocessor, it manages 3 power modules. If it is used with a power expansion module, it can manage up to 6 power modules, thus increasing the power from 20 to 40kVA. It has a screen and a multifunction keypad for monitoring the operating parameters of the UPS and for conf iguring numerous functions. It can be connected in parallel to other control modules and used with power expansion modules. The front panel has a backlit status indicator for immediate checking of the operating status of the system and an RS 232 por t for connecting a PC for maintenance.

Power modulesThe power modules (nominal power 6.7kVA) are ex tremely compact and easy to handle. They have a plug-in hot swap system, making them quick to install and maintain. They work in parallel with all modules that are present to ensure optimum system per formance.

Power expansion moduleThis must be used with a control module. It increases the power from 20 to 40kVA and can be used to establish individual redundancy on each phase.

Battery modulesEach module contains batteries that can be connected in series, forming separate strings. The compactness and functionality of the single (plug-in) module make it easy to handle, and expansion operations are possible without any modif ication of the structure of the installed system.

distribution moduleThis is used to conf igure the distribution type of the UPS (three-phase/three-phase, three-phase/single phase, single phase/single phase or single phase/ three-phase). It has I/O connection blocks, handling and protection devices, and the connection for additional batter y cabinets. The power supply can be conf igured on two separate input sources (main and backup).

Cable entrySpecial sleeves enable entr y and exit of the input and output cables, via the top and via the bottom.

2Pulse splitter PLs257The PLS257 is for applications where a pulse is required to be isolated, re-powered and repeated on two separate outputs (splitting) up to a maximum frequency of 100kHz. The output pulse width is adjustable (PW) to provide pulse stretching where the input pulse is very narrow.

Input signals of various types or from a variety of sensors can be accommodated:1) Low level ac, sine waves as produced by coil-type pick up (min 500mVpp).2) Low level pulse, any wave shape having a consistent frequency pattern (500mVpp up to 20Vpp).3) DC pulse, (500mVpp up to 50Vpp).4) NAMUR proximity sensor or pulsing contact - the sensor is directly connected to the PLS257 as the module provides the 8Vdc auxiliary supply.5) All types of 3-wire proximity sensors, optical sensors or any devices with NPN/PNP open collector transistor output requiring 5-24Vdc auxiliary supply at 20mA maximum.A pulse with a DC offset can also be accommodated using the front mounted TR or trigger level adjustment. The level of OUT1 (when ordered as pulse source) is set using a top accessible trim pot close to the power plug. The level of OUT2 (when ordered as pulse source) is set using the front accessible AMP trim pot. The module output is indicated by a front mounted LED which provides clear indication of module function and frequency output. The PLS257 provides galvanic isolation up to 1500Vdc between input, both outputs and supply circuitry. RF and power transient protections are standard as it is with all APCS modules. A wide range ac/dc power supply is available in two variations 10-60Vdc / 16-48V 50/60Hz or 60160Vdc / 48-150V 50/60Hz.

This transmitter combines an accurate excitation power supply and a millivolt pre-amplifier in one unit. Excitation voltage is front adjustable and will drive up to 4 loadcells (350) in parallel at 10Vdc.

The most common input mV-ranges are user selectable on the amplifier card by coding plugs. Final calibration is trimmed using the front accessible "OFFS" and SPAN 15-turn trim adjustments. The "OFFS" potentiometer can be wired out of the housing on request to provide remote tare adjustment. Front adjustments cover typically 20% of range. Output signal is indicated by the green LED on front, which gives a clear indication of module function. Three user selectable response times including a fast 5mS are available. Response times slower than 500mS are optional. Input to output isolation is also available.

The operation of the unit is to monitor the time between pulses and provide a relay contact output if a pulse is not detected within the time set via the trip speed adjustment. If the monitor times out before detecting the nex t pulse, the alarm will be activated, however it will be reset upon detection of the subsequent pulse. The STM156 provides indication of target detection and relay status via the LED's, a switch for reverse or direct action of relay operation and 15-turn trim-pots for trip speed and optional star t up delay.
