ONGERUP GOLF CLUB
Ongerup Golf Club Opening Day 2018, Sunday the 22nd of April. Mixed Ambrose. Sausage sizzle from 11.00 AM with all names in by 11.45. Hit-off at 12 Noon. BBQ tea and hospitality at the bar to follow play. Those staying please bring a salad to
share. Meat available. All welcome, including those who haven’t played before.
ONGERUP BOWLING CLUB
Ongerup Bowling club had its closing day on Sunday 8th April. It was a lovely day with a great turnout of 36 players for the day. A big thanks to our sponsors for the day go to Ernie and Emily Jaekel of Tarbunkenup and Thelma Jaekel of Sound Life Financial (Albany) The weather treated everyone very kindly and a delicious pig on a spit was cooked to perfection donated by Ernie Jaekel along with plenty of salads bought along by members provided the evening meal. Many thanks to all for making
the day very special.
Winners on the day were Carl Walker, Susan Moir and David Jones
Runners up were George Vaux, Darren Baum and Mick Creagh
Third place went to Ada Pocock, David Neild and Anthony Swalwell
FUNERAL NOTICE
A funeral to celebrate the life of the late Robin Argyle of Borden will be held on
Monday 16th of April at Allambie Park Chapel at 12pm.
BORDEN BOWLING CLUB
The Borden Bowling Club are having an informal roll of bowls this Thursday April 12 at 5.00pm to show our respect and acknowledge the commitment Mr Robin Argyle has shown to our club. Everyone is welcome to come along , have a roll and a
