Specific Problem
The Islamic Centre had only 5 bathrooms which not yet fulfilled community needs and not completed by treatment so the wastewater would harm and polluted river. Usually people lived surround the Islamic Centre used river for bathing, washing and farming . People used clean water from local company water (PDAM) and Islamic Centre. The last epidemic cases (diarrhea, typhus and skin disease) occurred in 2007.

Technical Description
Treatment capacity 35,8 m3
Technical components - WWTP-communal system con-tained of : Inlet (V= 0,2 m3), Di-gester (V= 24,07 m3 ), expansion (V= 9,03 m3 ), Sedimentation (V= 19,5 m3 ), anaerobic baffle reactor (V= 70,2 m3 ) and expan-sion chamber (V= 23,4 m3 ) which consisting of 7 compart-ments. The effluent is discharged into river/ water body.
Effluent quality The effluent quality referred to En-vironment Ministry regulation for standard effluent of domestic waste number 112, 2003 : pH = 6 -9, BOD = 100 mg/l, TSS = 100. mg/l, Oil and Fat = 10 Mg/l.

Management
Operation & Maintenance The wastewater treatment plant is operated and maintained by Community Based Organization (KSM) Islamic Centre An Nawawi. Committee training conducted after dissemination about regular schedule compilation to clean solid waste in the sedi-mentation chamber to prevent system stalled. Monitor conducted periodically by DE-WATS team or government institution to control effluent quality .
