Specific Problem
The Islamic Centre had 190 of Moslem student and teacher used nearest toilets near by Islamic Centre building but the condition were improperly (building condition) and the numbers were too small compared with users. The waste were only discharged at sim-ple septic tank which incapable to treat optimally, so the waste would harm surrounding environment and made bad odor. On the other way, student had bad habit to defecate in anywhere, so it would rise unhealthy environment and could trigger dangerous dis-eases. The last epidemic cases (diarrhea, typhus and skin disease) occurred in 2006.

Technical Description
Treatment capacity 18,8 m3
Technical components - WWTP-communal system con-tained of : Inlet (V= 0,14 m3), Di-gester (V= 11,16 m3 ), expansion (V= 4,60 m3 ), Sedimentation (V= 12,5 m3 ), anaerobic baffle reactor (V= 20 m3 ) and expansion chamber (V= 20 m3 ) and outlet chamber which consisting of 7 compartments. The effluent is dis-charged into river/ water body.
Effluent quality The effluent quality referred to En-vironment Ministry regulation for standard effluent of domestic waste number 112, 2003 : pH = 6 -9, BOD = 100 mg/l, TSS = 100. mg/l, Oil and Fat = 10 Mg/l.

Management
Operation & Maintenance The wastewater treatment plant is operated and maintained by Community Based Organization (KSM) Nglegani. Committee training conducted after dissemination about regular schedule compilation to clean solid waste in the sedimentation cham-ber to prevent system stalled. Monitor conducted periodically by DEWATS team or government institution to control effluent quality .
