Zephyr, named after the Greek god of the west wind, is a store devoted to naturally made candles and incense. This innovative environment is designed to absorb the customers, leading them deeper into the store through the use of an intriguing combination of ancient and contemporary elements. Zephry’s design includes hints of the four elements: earth, wind, water, fi re. Keeping with the all-natural philosophy of Zephyr, all construction and fi nish materials are considered sustainable.

Alpha Life Resource Center strives to counsel women considering abortion, and looking for options. The staff also counsels issues such as dating, sex, marriage, and suicide. This space is designed to be comfortable for clients and consultants, both physically and psychologically. The issues discussed within maybe emotionally challenging. It is imperative that the space be warm and inviting, while appropriately distinguishing between public and private areas.

Lavash provides an intriguing fusion of Mediterranean and Californian cuisine. Architectural details mimic the natural fl ow of the Mediterranean sea, while remaining contemporary, appropriate for an urban environment. Californian cuisine is known for integrating local food with high-quality presentation. Lavash also pays strong attention to detail. The large variety of materials and colors represent the many cultures that make up the Mediterranean region.

Aspire is designed with close attention to sustainability, not only in material choice, but in the impact it has for the teens. Recycling, organic food, and a roof garden encourage these young minds to live green in the future.
