Welcome to Colorado Community Media

You’re local. We’re local...really local.

In fact, we publish 16 local newspapers in the metro Denver suburbs. To us, local is big.

At Colorado Community Media, we believe that city news, high school sports, public events, history and culture all contribute to the identity of a community. Local newspapers are still the single best source for bringing that all together.

We also believe that healthy businesses, like yours, are the pulse of a community, so we want to provide you with valuable, local advertising options.

We can help you cast your advertising net as large or small as you need. We offer print options, digital options, counsel on how to create a successful campaign and free ad design services.

We love to help businesses, like yours, grow and become a successful part of a local community.

Because to us, local is big.

Start your campaign today with Colorado Community Media.

Call us at 303-566-4100.

Build a Powerful Campaign5 tips on how to deliver your message effectively and concisely.

1 2 3 4 5

When you look at a well-designed ad, there is usually one dominant feature to catch your eye. It could be the headline or the picture. And while it might be tempting to throw in a little starburst, be careful how you use it. When you emphasize everything, you emphasize nothing.

Your computer may come with hundreds of fonts, but that doesn’t mean you have to use them all. The best ad designs stick with one, maybe two fonts. Equally important is the design of text blocks. Avoid small and condensed type and keep your message concise. If readers can’t easily read it, they won’t.

Don’t feel compelled to fill every inch of space with copy, images, logos, or specials offers. A dense blob of type and pictures can look unattractive and turn readers away. An open and airy design is inviting and friendly.

The purpose of images is to help draw attention to your message. That’s not to say that a plumber has to show faucets or that a dentist has to show teeth. Be creative! That plumber could, for instance, show Niagara Falls and that dentist could focus on smiles.

You have aroused the readers’ interest, now you have to let them know whom to buy it from and how. Don’t confuse call-to-action with an oversized name, address and phone number. Give the reader clear instructions on how they can take advantage of your product or service.
