Ground water recharge in 6 districts of upper Narmadabasin in 35 lakh ha area is 4.449 M hamThis is equivalent to 12.84 cm depth over the area of basinRecharge is 10% of normal rainfallUseful for deciding strategies for ground water management
The agricultural attribute maps, soil maps, land use/ land cover maps, water body maps, crop maps(Kharif and Rabi season) and Geomorphicattributes maps of Tons and Sindh Basin areprepared using satellite imageries and severalground observation throughout the basin during theyear 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.

Water quality deteriorated in Narsinghpur andJabalpur district in last 40 years.Na, Cu, Cr. So , Fe, Ho , Cl, Tn. are some ofdominant pollutant.Domestic waste Nala is the poorest waterquality.
Size reduction, moisture content and heatingincreases the oil expression.

Complete data on weather parameterscon ta in i ng max imum and min imumtemperatures, and rainfall was collected of allthe agro-climatic zones of M.P. and wasanalyzed with previous years to assesschanges from normal on a long-term basis.Last October-early November was foundsuitable time for chickpea planting with desichickpea cultivars like JG 315, or JG 11.For soybean, JS 97-52 is a good cultivar with planting date from Mid June to first weekof July.Occurrence of insects is related with weather parameters.
Thirty nine students were selected in GATE and got admissions in different IITs andNITs of the country for higher studies.Students participated in “Youth Festival” of JNKVV and on the basis of different eventsperformance awarded as “Shrestha Mahavidyalay”.
