Coldside is the m

ost central Ward in D

undee City. The

boundary stretches from the roundabout at N

orth Marketgait,

to the Kingsway, the M

iley and then to Lochee Road and includes H

illtown, Law

, Fairmuir, The G

lens and Dudhope

comm

unity areas. There are approximately 19,730 people

living in Coldside.

Coldside boasts a num

ber of green and open spaces, including D

udhope Park which features one of Scotland’s

finest outdoor skate parks and the stadiums for D

undee and D

undee United football team

s. Coldside w

as also home to

the site of ten multis, recently reduced to four.

The Hilltow

n area of Coldside has a rich history dating back

to pre 1800’s and once had a dynamic range of sm

all shops up and dow

n its spine. This area is now at the heart of

regeneration with the developm

ent of new schools and a
