Daily Overview (March 31, 2020) We are finalizing documentation and standardization of our internal processes related to COVID-19, and continue planning heavily for the upcoming weeks. Safety: EHC is in the process of re-evaluating its approach to PPE, with new guidelines to follow soon. We continue to evaluate room air circulation rates and placement of HEPA filters for procedural suites across sites. Methods: We have finalized our algorithm for scheduling and rescheduling outpatient diagnostic imaging. Documents guiding the performance of portable imaging examinations and MRI for COVID+ vented patients are being finalized. Equipment: Additional Emory radiologist home interpretation workstations have been delivered and are being readied for deployment. Grady and CHOA radiologist home interpretation workstation deployment continues. Supplies: Additional sources of PPE continue to be explored and additional shipments are arriving for use. Staffing: The majority of responses to a survey to catalog clinical skill sets for clinical faculty, fellows, and residents have been received. If you haven’t done so already, please complete this brief survey. Planning is underway to track metrics and prepare detailed plans for surge conditions if the need arises.
