CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Gleneagles has a proud tradition of providing an array of extra curricular opportunities and experiences for its students.
Whether it be in the arts domain, sporting arena, musical performances, technology exhibitions, community service, camps, clubs or productions, Gleneagles Secondary College provides activities to cater for all students and all interest areas.
The opportunities provided occur both on and off campus in a variety of environments and designed to both support and challenge your child and further enhance their educational pathways.
This brochure provides a mere snapshot of what is available on a daily basis at the College. Check out our Website, speak to the staff or ask your child about the exciting programs we have in place. We think that you will be pleasantly surprised.

Instrumental Music
Program. Students at the
school are offered the
choice of learning flute,
clarinet, bass clarinet, oboe,
saxophone, trumpet, French
horn, trombone, drums,
guitar, piano and voice
up to VCE level.

Student Ac vi es Commi ee (SAC) is a group of
students from all year levels who volunteer to work
together to organise educa ve and social ac vi es for
the student body, while the “Student Voice” is a group
of representa ves who meet formally to discuss issues
important to students within the school.

The bi‐annual exchange program
sees students from our sister schools
in Germany travel to Australia early
in the year to be home hosted by
families in our community. Our
students then go to Germany and
usually stay with the same students
and a end their school.
In recent years our students have
also had the other travel
opportuni es such as the Malaysia &
Indonesia Trip, the SEAL Trip Europe
and the World Challenge Trip to
Vietnam.

At Gleneagles we believe in having a variety
of organised lunch me ac vi es available to
students. There is something for everyone to
par cipate in and if we don’t have a club that
reflects your interests you can ask SAC to
create one. Created for students by students,
find others that have your passions.

week where students do a range of
boxercise and fitness workouts, followed by
a cereal breakfast.
