Cathy Woolard has served as Atlanta City Council President and the District 6 representative on the Atlanta City Council. For the past 25 years, Cathy has helped organizations achieve their goals through strategic planning, community mobilization and advocacy. As former City Council President, Cathy was an early champion of the Atlanta Beltline. She worked with Ryan Gravel, creator of the Beltline concept, to educate and mobilize citizens across Atlanta to support the redevelopment of the city’s 22-mile loop of largely unused railroad corridors into an integrated system of trails, transit, and green space. GUEST SPEAKERS Bruce D’Agostino is President / CEO of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) in McLean, VA. Under his leadership CMAA has grown its membership from less than 900 to more than 14,000, and the number certified construction managers has increased from 78 to more than 2,500. In 2008, Bruce was made a Fellow in CMAA for his exemplary leadership. Zach Fields serves as the Director of School Relations for CEFGA (Construction Education Foundation of GA) and supports nearly 150 high school programs in the state training the next generation of skilled tradespeople. He works to connect young people to opportunities in the construction industry and advocates heavily for the honorable career paths that the skilled trades offer.
