Club St George Wedding Package Club St George is set on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea offering panoramic views of the Paphos coastline and has everything you need for your special day. You can have your civil ceremony in the beautiful terrace of our Chapel followed by your cocktail reception and evening celebrations in our private room situated on the first floor of our clubhouse. You and your guests have a variety of accommodation to choose from ranging from studios to three bedroom detached villas, all in close proximity to one another. Requirements:

i. Valid Passports: with at least 3 months left to run after the date of travel. ii. If you have a British passport and you are a single person, a certificate ( also known as a

Sworn Affidavit or Certificate of No Impediment) signed by a solicitor of your country confirming that you are free to marry, is accepted. This certificate must be issued on headed notepaper of the solicitor’s firm, or if this is issued on blank paper then it must be stamped by the solicitor’s stamp. On the solicitor’s stamp the name, the address and the word “solicitor” must be shown. Please note: these documents are only valid for 3 months from time of issue.

iii. If you are divorced you will have to bring with you the original Divorced Certificate- (Decree Absolute) which must be final and absolute. In addition you must have the certificate mentioned in paragraph above.

iv. If you are widow/widower you have to bring with you the original Death Certificate. In addition you must have the certificate mentioned in paragraph above.

v. If you have changed your name by Deed Poll then a Deed Pole Certificate is required vi. If you are adopted then Adoption Certificate is required

vii. If one of you is under 18 years old you must bring in addition the consent of your father which must be certified by a solicitor of your country.

viii. Two witnesses are required in accordance with Cyprus Law .Passport photocopies of the two witnesses (over 18yrs) must be provided.

ix. Fees for the Special Marriage: €281.92 Euro (Special marriage means marriage within one or two days after the submission of your application) plus the sum of €350.00 Euro license fee for your chosen wedding venue, total €631.92 Euro.

All documents must be in original form and written in either English or Greek. These requirements only apply to British Passport holders, all other nationalities must refer to their respective

governmental agencies for exact information regarding the necessary paperwork. It is the responsibility of the wedding couple to arrive in Cyprus with the correct original documentation. Without the correct documentation the wedding ceremony cannot proceed. Booking Deposit €300.00 A non-refundable deposit of €300.00 is payable to Club St George upon confirmation from the Town Hall. This will secure your booking and the date at Club St George. To hold your wedding ceremony at Club St George, you must also hold your wedding reception here on the same day. (Drinks Reception optional) Arrival to the Resort On the day you arrive or day after, we are happy to meet with you and your wedding planner in order to go through all the necessary pre-wedding appointments/ formalities and confirm your wedding details. This meeting is optional as your own appointed wedding planner may choose to have this meeting with you privately. The Venue – Chapel Terrace Venue Fee (min 30 persons) €200.00 We are happy to provide the ceremony table with skirting and chairs. Decorations can be arranged through your wedding planner. White chair covers €2.00 each. Venue decoration On request Cocktail Reception –Roof Top Terrace with Sea View - Private Area Cocktail Reception, optional served at a pre-arranged time before dinner with local drinks and a selection of our Chef’s canapés for one hour at the roof top terrace. Please see our Cocktail and Canapés menus attached. Reception:-Private Area Venue Fee (min 30 persons) €400.00 Restaurant on the first floor which is a private area, where you can have private entertainment either using your own CD’s or request DJ or Live music. All music finishes at 00.00hrs Tables with white table cloths and chairs are provided by the Resort. Table Decorations On request or can be arranged with your wedding planner. Location

Situated on the South-western coast of Cyprus, the resort is approximately 25 minutes' drive from Paphos airport and is close by to the two villages of Emba and Tremithousa which feature beautiful squares offering traditional taverns. Paphos town is 3kms away with the beaches being approximately 15 minutes drive. The famous Coral Bay Beach and the historical Paphos Harbour are between 15/ 20 mins drive and within close proximity is the Saint Neophytos Monastery whilst the wild Akamas region is on our doorstep. The nearest golf course is Minthis Hills Golf Course, with Elea Golf Course, Venus Rock and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course no more than 30mins drive. Club St George Resort is the perfect base from which to explore the whole of the Paphos area.

Terms and Conditions

The wedding couple must stay in the resort for a minimum of seven nights (min B&B basis) and their wedding guests must stay for a minimum of five nights (min B&B basis) surcharges will apply for guests on All-inclusive Basis.

The wedding reception must take place in our resort on the same day as the wedding ceremony

Upon arrival at resort a meeting to finalise the wedding event can be arranged The legal documents required to marry in Cyprus are the responsibility of the wedding

couple and all original documents must be brought with them to Cyprus. Municipality Town Hall Fees for the Civil Marriage Licence €281.92 Euro plus

€350.00 Euro, total €631.92 – payable directly to the Town Hall. Venue Fee – Chapel Terrace for Wedding Service €200.00 Euro. Venue Fee – Private area for Cocktail and Reception €400.00 Euro. The resort reserves the right to agree a minimum number of guests to be charged for the

reception and dining event at this time. No wines, spirits, food or beverage may be brought into the grounds and premises of the

resort by or on the behalf of the client or any guests for consumption within the resort premises.

The resort reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of the client, their guests or representatives. The client must ensure compliance with the resort’s directions regarding noise and behaviour.

A non refundable deposit of €300.00 Euro is payable to Club St George on confirmation from the Town Hall and a 30% deposit is required for all food & beverage arrangements with full payment required 2 days prior to the event.

The above packages relate specifically to 2018. The management reserves the right to make changes at any time without prior notice.
