HOTEL STOLZ ****

An excellent 4-star hotel distinguishing itself from others in its enormous hospitality, something you experience hardly anywhere now. Hotel Stolz is very quietly situated in a small place, called Mühlbachl / Matrei am Brenner in the region Innsbruck-Land, Tyrol, Austria. The hotel is not at the piste but transport facilities to the various ski resorts are abundant !

Luxury and traditionally furnished rooms either with a bath or shower/wc and many with a balcony.The rooms are equipped with bathrobes, hairdryer, radio/ satellite TV, wireless internet, Furthermore there is a sauna, solarium, steambath, restaurant, bar/pub, laundry service/dry cleaning, etc.

The restaurant serves regional specialties. The kitchen is first rate:in the morning a copious buffet breakfast and for supper a 4-course dinner with the choice of 4 main dishes, one of which is vegetarian. Starter and desert are also included.

The ski resorts WITHIN a 15 km radius of the hotel Stolz can be reached by either the hotel bus ( which will also pick you up when required with a simple telephone call ! ), alternatively, you can also make use of the CLUB EPO-SKI bus.For the ski resorts OUTWITH the 15 km radius of the Hotel Stolz, you can make use of our own CLUB EPO-SKI bus.

Our Ski Safari timetable reads as follows:

Day 1: Sunday - Schlick 2000 ( The distance from the hotel Stolz to the ski resorts: 12 km )13 lifts, Nice ski resort, but brisk, so ideally suited as a warming-up.

Day 2: Monday - Patscherkofel - Innsbruck( The distance from the hotel Stolz to the ski resorts: 30 km )The Olympic and World-cup Mountain.An international venue, providing fantasticfacilities.

Day 3: Tuesday - Axamer Lizum( The distance from the hotel Stolz to the ski resorts: 35 km )Altitude: 1540-2340 m, Skiing in oneof the most beautiful ski areas.

Dag 4: Wednesday - Stubaier Glacier ( The distance from the hotel Stolz to the ski resorts: 38 km )A top address for glacier skiing in the Alps.26 cable cars and lifts - 110 km of slopes.

Dag 5: Thursday - Kühtai( The distance from the hotel Stolz to the ski resorts: 50 km )Perfectly groomed slopes at about 44 km length are for all levels available.

Dag 6: Friday - Ratschings (South Tyrol)( The distance from the hotel Stolz to the ski resorts: 38 km )8 high performance and comfortable lifts,This ski resort with its great atmosphereand enormous spaces, is one of the mostmodern in South Tyrol.

Day 7: Saturday - Bergeralm ( Steinach )( The distance from the hotel Stolz to the ski resorts: 5 km )Here you also find one of the most spectacular slopes of Austria, the "Manni Pranger Slope", the steepest downhill of Austria ! There is even the Noah's funpark for kids, offering jumps, rails, boxes and corners for the little ones.

ORGANISATION - Ski Safari Trip:

Each day our own CLUB EPO-SKI BUS will take you to the slope. The travelling distance varies from 15/20 to 50/60 minutes. On the eve of each day within the safari event we will go over the skiregion's possibilities with you. Ski passes, which are, of course, inclusive, will be provided every morning. Everyone is supposed to be on their skis about 09.30 hrs. upon which you can go as you please as the day progresses. So it is up to you to decide whether you join one of our guides or not.You are expected to be back at the meeting point between 16.30 hrs – 17.00 hrs.

PLEASE NOTE:

The above timetable is based on the assumption that there will be no upsets. For instance, in the unforeseen event that the weather is going to play havoc, in the lower regions that would be, or any other upset beyond our control, we shall be forced to alter the programme for any given day(s). Should this have to be so, we shall inform you of this in ample time, at the latestthe night before.

Hotel Centrale*** is situated at the centre of the village and in close proximity to the main cabin lift.
