Report on client brief The first thing the client will discuss is the contract, they will begin by talking about the different parts of the contract such as, how long it might take, how long they are required to work and the time schedule also they will discuss the project. Also talking about the wage, the amount of funding that is allowed or the amount of money they have allocated for creating the video. The contract will then need to be agreed to and signed by the worker/employee. To legally prove that they have agreed to do the project. This is a legal document and can be held against the people involved if they do not stick to their side of the agreement. Negotiation would start after the contract has been discussed, this is where both sides get to talk in depth about, funds deadlines and wage this is the important part where if u do not agree or dislike the contract you can negotiate with the client to try to persuade them to change parts of the contract to suit you. Also you could ask questions at this point about the contract and the task, though it would be more suitable to of asked them at the contract stage. A formal brief is a document containing specific and precise details to achieve the goal. These documents get straight to the point and only include information that is needed for the goals and do not contain irrelevant information. These are normally competition briefs and job briefs, employers use these types of briefs because they get straight to the point and are normally very clear, they would contain bullet points and headings to make sure that the reader knows exactly what is required of them. An informal brief is exactly the opposite of a formal brief
