Alexander LidgrenCleantech ScandinaviaAlexander Lidgren is one of the founders of Cleantech Scandinavia, a membership network of Nordic cleantech investors. The company has grown quickly and now supplies a majority of Nordic cleantech investors with cleantech

knowledge, contacts and dealflow. Since 2010 Alexander is Managing Director of Nordic Cleantech Open. He holds a M. Sc in Environmental Management and Policy as well as a B Sc in Business Administra�on and Marke�ng. He has an entrepreneurial background having co‐founded and developed two venture backed technology companies, one later sold to a stock‐listed company.

Peter AdriansWolverine Venture Fund, Board Member of GCCADr. Adriaens is Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Entrepreneurship and Strategy in the Ross School of Business, where he serves as CleanTech Director to the Wolverine Venture

Fund of the University of Michigan. He is past‐President of the Associa�on of Environmental Science and Engineering Professors, and a member‐by‐eminence of the American Academy of Environmental Engineering. Following a 20‐year career focused on valida�ng laboratory‐based bioremedia�on, environmental sensing and green building technologies in the field, his current work focuses on CleanTech innova�on and entrepreneurship. Pankaj SehgalSUN GroupMr. Sehgal currently heads technology and cleantech ini�a�ves at the SUN Group, a leading principal investor and private equity fund manager in Russia, India and other emerging markets. Earlier, he was with

McKinsey & Co, where he counselled CEOs and boards of leading global companies in communica�on, wireless, so�ware, retail, and

energy sectors on business issues including corporate strategy, M&As, corporate restructuring, and business turnaround. He was Managing Director of Quark; Vice President at i2 Technologies, and has held management posi�ons with Kra� Foods.

Julien MialaretIdinvest PartnersJulien is a member of the Cleantech team and conducts investments in early stage companies in Europe and China. Prior to joining Idinvest Partners, Julien provided strategic advisory to energy and environmental technology start‐ups

in the Chinese market. Julien started his career at Electricité de France (EDF) in China where he was responsible for the performance management of the EDF's thermal power fleet and later joined the China development team to invest and acquire thermal and renewable power projects in the Mainland. Julien holds a Masters in Management from ESCP Europe School of Management and a B.A in Chinese Studies from the French School of Oriental Studies.

Bao (Bob) HongxuanJuno Capital GroupBao has a long track record of cleantech coopera�on and technology transfer through his previous work China Clean Technology Fund, Chinese Clean Technology Network and GreenStream Network Plc. Bao has a degree in

Finance from University of Beijing and University of New South Wales, Australia. Juno Capital Group is a privately held corporate advisory and investment firm offering different products and services to both corporate and investor clients. The Group has just launched China Clean Tech Transfer Fund in order to locate and assess “interna�onal clean technology leaders”, meaning well established companies, with proven success and a desire to enter the Chinese market. development team. Nina also runs the EcoCluP project which is a coopera�on of 13 Cleantech Clusters from 10 European countries. Nina has 15 years of experience from various business development and marke�ng management posi�ons. She also owns a consultancy company AD Priori which concentrates on finding business opportuni�es for Finnish environmental companies in India.

through to the leading company management roles. By the �me of the conference Harri will have been appointed as a Chairman of Finnish Industry Investment a government owned investment company, that plays a crucial role in suppor�ng and promo�ng cleantech industry in Finland.

Jacob af ForsellesAhlström CapitalJacob is Investment Director at Ahlström Capital, responsible for private equity investments and venture capital investments. Ahlström Capital is a family owned investment company that invests interna�onally in industrial companies and real

estate. Jacob has more than ten years of experience working with interna�onal M&A, both as an investment banker and as a private equity investor. Currently he serves as a board member in a number of private companies, which are ac�ve in various fields of clean technology.

Johannes SiebersSiemens Venture CapitalJohannes is a Senior Investment Analyst at Siemens Venture Capital based in Munich, Germany. He focuses on growth capital investments across all Siemens relevant industries. Before joining SVC in October 2010,

Johannes was an analyst at Sirius Venture Partners, a German early stage Venture Capital fund, with a focus on Renewable Energies. Golden Bridge 2010. Golden Bridge helps Chinese VCs and PEs by matching the investor with most poten�al investment targets, co‐investors and fund partner candidates. Golden Bridge also helps Chinese hi‐tech growth companies in innova�on exchange and business expansion

Mr. Zhu is a venture partner of China Environment Fund of Tsing Capital. Mr. Zhu has been provided strategic and investment advisory services for 15 years to Chinese and

foreign cleantech companies in solar, wind, bio energy, smart grid, waste, water and wastewater treatment, waste to power, industrial energy efficiency, clean transporta�on, green buildings, etc. In 1995, as the China Representa�ve for the consul�ng and EPC arm of Waste Management Inc, Mr. Zhu lead the China team to develop solid waste and wastewater business.

Jari Hur�aBeneqJari Hur�a, Director, Business Development at Beneq, leading corporate and strategic development projects. He has built and structured Beneq distribu�on network at the key markets and created business models to

work with partner companies. He has a long experience in interna�onal business within technology industry. Beneq is a supplier of equipment and coa�ng technology for global markets. Beneq turns innova�ons into success by developing applica�ons and equipment for cleantech and renewable energy fields, especially in glass, solar and emerging thin film markets.

Peter JahnE�eplanRecycling and green technology has been an area of interest of Peter Jahn since beginning of 1980´s . Combining inven�on and ideas to real life working applica�ons is his driving force; Hazardous waste recycling centre to city of

Kauniainen and Emergency Packages for gas sta�ons on leakage accidents are few of the examples that have been realized. Last 7 Years prior to E�eplan employment Peter was responsible for tes�ng and cer�fica�on business at Intertek Plc. in Finland, Europe and Asia. At E�eplan Peter has collected and coordinated the Green Tower concept in Kunshan together with FECC, CTI and Vataple Group.

Andy NaylorMatOxHeadquartered in Oxford and Helsinki, MatOx develops and commercializes new materials technologies, u�lizing partnerships with some of the world´s leading academic groups in the fields of applied materials sciences. Andy has been

instrumental in building a number of successful technology businesses from incep�on through to exit. He has been a director of over 15 companies including early stage ventures and plcs, and has led various technology commercialisa�on ac�vi�es. Prior to MatOx, Andy was CEO of Pembroke House Technologies, and his previous posi�ons also include Vice President of Physical Sciences at IP Group plc, and management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Andy holds a PhD in Physics.

Fredrika GullfotSimris AlgSimris Alg is a pioneering agribusiness based in Sweden, ac�ve in microalgae cul�va�on for produc�on of commercially valuable substances within fuel, food and life sciences. Fredrika holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Biotechnology from the

Royal Ins�tute of Technology in Stockholm.

Joško BobanovićSofinnovaJoško Bobanović joined Sofinnova in 2010 as Partner dedicated to seed ac�vi�es in green chemistry and bio‐energy. Prior to joining Sofinnova he spent eight years in venture capital with iNovia Capital and its predecessor fund

MSBi Capital in Montreal, Canada. While at iNovia Joško was responsible for cleantech investments at the fund, and focused on seed and early stage investments in cleantech and informa�on technology.Prior to his venture capital career he created an internet startup and a so�ware company. A�er comple�ng his PhD studies Joško developed real‐�me ocean forecas�ng systems s�ll used at Environment Canada for coastal ocean management. Cesar BerrozpeSodenaCésar joined SODENA's Projects management team in the middle of 2006. Before this he set up, along with other partners, a consul�ng bureau focused on designing and launching projects of public – private coopera�on. He has

also been heading a consor�um that se�ng up a cultural and tourist complex in Catalonia and been manager of the Industry – Automa�on division at Accenture. SODENA is both a VC actor and the official business development organisa�on to the Navarra region in Spain.

Peter RäkeRWE Innogy Ventures Peter is Execu�ve Director at Innogy Venture Capital since 2008. Before that Peter has been a Director of Pöyry Energy Consul�ng and Convergence U�lity Consultants. During his nearly 6 year tenure at Pöyry he led and executed

Jonas LandströmVolvo Technology TransferJonas joined the VTT team in 2010 and sits on the boards of Terracastus Technologies, MagComp and CrossBorder Technologies. He is also responsible for the Connec�vity and ITS area within VTT. Prior to joining VTT, Jonas was Vice

President and co‐founder of a biotech company. He has a MSc in Engineering Physics complemented with corporate economics and entrepreneurship. Volvo Group is a leading actor in the commercial vehicle industry with the vision to be the world leader in sustainable transport solu�ons. Denis LeclercÈcotech QuébecDenis Leclerc is President and Chief Execu�ve Officer of Écotech Québec, the Québec Cleantech Cluster. Mr. Leclerc has more than 20 years of experience in business management, mainly in the natural resources industry. He has held a

number of senior posi�ons, including Vice President, Sustainability and Environment for a global forest products company. He holds MBA from Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Université Laval (major in public communica�ons).

Pierre EgotGimvBefore joining Gimv in 2010, Pierre worked as an associate with BayTech Venture Capital in Munich. He covered the domains of technology and cleantech. He played an ac�ve role in many investments and reinvestments in Europe and Israel and was deeply involved in the por�olio

management of eight BayTech par�cipa�ons, amongst which both early‐stage companies and later stage companies. Prior to this, Pierre was a consultant for Es�n & Co. in Paris and in Cambridge for a start‐up specialized in smart‐metering. Pierre obtained his Msc in Engineering from the Paris École Politechnique and MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge.

She developed a business plan to implement Cycle Capital and completed a fundraising of $80M. Tapani HyvönenED‐designTapani Hyvönen graduated in 1974 as an industrial designer from the University of Art and Design Helsinki. He began his professional career in 1973 and founded his own design agency Destem Ltd. in 1976 and was co‐founder of ED‐Design Ltd. in 1990.

A�er serving up to 2012 as CEO of ED‐Design Ltd. Hyvönen is currently Chairman of the board concentra�ng on strategic planning and new businesses. Since its launch, ED‐Design has been one of the largest product design agencies in the Nordic countries. Hyvönen has carried out his main professional work through his companies, the clientele of which include well‐known Finnish and interna�onal companies such as Nokia, Polar Electro, Viewsonic, Elcoteq, Elektrobit, LG, Mirion Technologies.

Rene SavelsbergChrysalix SET Rene is CEO and Managing Director of Chrysalix SET. His focus is on companies in the area of smart grid, energy efficiency, electric vehicles and infrastructure. He serves on the Board of Alertme.com Ltd., Epyon B.V., General Fusion Inc.,

O‐Flexx Technologies GmbH and PhotoSolar A/S. Rene has a background from Philips where he has been leading the Philips Corporate Venturing ac�vi�es since 1997, ini�ally in Silicon Valley, USA and later expanding into Europe and Israel.
