•The Superconductivity group started in 1989 and their activities include magnets for particle accelerators, kinetic energy storage, and superconductivity technology research.

• In addition Ciemat has launched a special program to extend these activities to other fields of accelerator

•A group of people is training at CERN who are contributing to LHC commissioning.
