Bloomfield Baptist Family:
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42) One of the marks of the early church was fellowship. Chris-tians in the early church studied God’s word together, ate together, received the Lord’s Supper together and prayed together. As members of Bloomfield Baptist Church, we are called to spend time with one another in fellowship as well. A clear opportunity for biblical fellowship is Sunday morning. That is when we come together for prayer, worship and to study God’s word together. Additional opportunities for fellowship are offered on Sunday and Wednesday nights as well. Here are some of the opportunities we have coming up on Sunday & Wednesday evenings:
August 14th: Church Cookout at Bloomfield Park (5:30pm)
August 17th: Wednesday Night Programming for All Ages
Resumes (6:30pm) August 28
th: Sunday Night Prayer Gathering (6:30pm)
We are also excited about offering a Bible study opportunity for men and women this fall:
September 12th: Monday Night Men’s Bible Study (7:00pm)
(This study is open to all men in the church and will meet on the 2
nd Monday of each month.)
August 24th: Women’s Bible Study (6:30pm)
(This study is open to all women in the church and will meet weekly for 6 weeks.)
It is an exciting time to be at Bloomfield Baptist Church! I hope you will join us this Sunday morning for worship and throughout the week for bible study, fellowship and prayer! Reaching Bloomfield with You, Pastor Richard
