We could always use prayer for open eyes and hearts to

see the needs and people God is bringing across our paths, for ears to hear what the Spirit wants to say to us. We are doing the best we can to navigate through this

time- how covid19 Has and still could affect us, our community etc and how we should respond to it.

God has shown us his faithfulness through this time. He has met our needs during the crisis and as of right now, (to the best of our knowledge) none of our congregation has had the virus. We were able to gather remotely via

zoom to worship together. We had some people joining us from other areas in the state and Indiana and CA, etc. it

has been a good time of reflection and prayer and getting back to the basics. We hope to continue to reflect and rest

in the Lord and not get caught up in the busyness of life when things get back to some normalcy

July 12-July 18

Mara Christian Church, Indianapolis, IN Pastor: Chhaki Khaimi

Pray for us as we go through this shut-down phase, that we would be a light to the community around us.

We thank God that nobody in our congregation has gotten sick or died from this pandemic.

July 19-July 25

Mennonite Fellowship of Bloomington,

Bloomington, IN Contact person: John Sauder

Our fellowship has been blessed for having two

persons join us on zoom talking about issues relating to racialism and white privilege. Pray that we move

from discussing the issues to making a real change in our being and our community.

We give thanks for the ways God has given our congregational leaders wisdom and insight and our

congregation the capacity to adapt and change during this unusual time

Other items to pray for in July:

Continue to pray for the Shirati Diocese, our Tanzanian brothers & sisters.

We pray for those working on the frontlines in caring for the sick and for those who are struggling with grief, anxiety and isolation.

Where there is no specific prayer request made, please pray for the congregation and pastor(s) as the Spirit

directs you. This monthly prayer memo will be found on the IN-MI Conference website.
