� � � � 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time! In today’s gospel, St. Matthew 15:21�28, there is a lesson, a very necessary one for all of us in this episode of Christ’s public life. It is the necessity of persever-ance in our prayers of petition. Prayer is an essential part of our Christian life and the essential part of pray-er is that of adoration and thanksgiving but prayer of petition has a big part in our daily prayer.,! We have so many spiritual and temporal needs, needs which we cannot provide by ourselves. Christ himself has told us to ask HIM for all those needs:!“ask and you shall receive,”�!

Registration starts on 8/19 after the Masses, 4 pm!
8:45 am and 11:15 am as well as on Wednesdays from !6pm�7pm. Kindergarten thru Confirmation. There is limited availability for pre�kindergarten children on a first come basis.!!
Class again will be held on Wednesday from 6:30�7:30 starting September 20th for grades K�6 and Sunday nights, starting on September 17th from 5:30 pm�7 pm.!!
The fee is $25. for one child and $45.per family.!!
Should a child be making a Sacrament this year (First Communion or Confirmation) a Baptism certificate will be required in order to make the Sacrament.!!

Class of 1967 Notre Dame, UCA & DeSales Reunion��The combined 1967 graduating classes of Notre Dame, UCA and DeSales High Schools will be celebrating!Its 50th Reunion Weekend September 22�24.!
