Deadline: All applications must be received by December 10, 2016. Travel: Travel expenses to and from Tongyeong are to be paid by the participants Tuition: A maximum of 8 selected applicants will receive full tuition, hotel

accommodation, meals, and airport transfers (if arriving from outside of Korea). Hotel will be provided and paid by TIMF; individually made hotel arrangements cannot be reimbursed.

Violinists not accepted as active participants can still attend the masterclass as passive participants. There is no tuition fee for passive participants, but hotel and meal expenses will not be covered.

Lessons: All masterclasses are individual lessons and are open to the public. All lessons will take place at Tongyeong Concert Hall. Accompanist: An accompanist will be available at all masterclasses, with limited rehearsal times

available. (Accompanist: Mr. Julian Riem) Practice: Active participants can practice at their hotel room or use a practice room at

Tongyeong Concert Hall. Concert: Active participants are encouraged to participate in a student concert on Friday,

13 January. Appl. Fee: All accepted participants will be required to provide a valid credit card numbers to

confirm their participation. The credit card will not be charged except in the case of no-show, which will result in the no-show charge of KRW 200,000. The deposit will be refunded upon arrival in Tongyeong.
