“Eli”, simply translated, is the Aramaic word for God, so Eli Home is God’s Home. It comes from the bible verse Matthew 27:46, when Jesus cries out on the cross, “Eli, Eli, why hast thou forsaken me?” We feel it is the cry of many children who suffer abuse.

September 13, 2019 Dear Friends, Please consider being a sponsor of the 2019 Christmas Tree Lane. We are so happy to once again partner with Hilton Anaheim for this special event with proceeds benefitting The Eli Home for Abused Children. Individuals, businesses, and organizations can display their imagination and creativity to thousands of visitors who come to the beautiful lobby of the Hilton Anaheim. They can use it as a marketing tool and at the same time help abused children at Christmas. The trees that are on display will be auctioned off in an online Silent Auction.

• Deadline for sponsorship commitment is on August 30, 2019. • Deadline for “Do It Yourself” sponsorship commitment is September 30, 2019. • DIY trees decorating starts the week of October 21st at Hilton Anaheim. • Trees will be on display in the lobby of the Hilton Anaheim early November.
