Elegant, minimalistic and flexible

CHILL ElementsIn each bar it is necessary to serve cold beverages. In general these drinks are stored in chillers underneath the drip dray and beer fountain. More and more bottled drinks are displayed in back bar coolers. This stimulates the turnover of these products due to more visibility.

In most cases not much attention is given to the looks and design of these coolers themselves. However, these coolers may have become an essential part of the bar. For this reason, CHILL Equip-ment has developed a design line of good-looking modular bottle chillers. The impact of the vari-ous models, options and flexibility will take your breath away.

By using Elements as bricks you can make illimitable combinations

Illimitable combinations CHILL Elements is a product line which consists out of separate Elements. These Elements are to be connected together to create 1 complete cooling counter. Cooling Elements (refrigeration units) need to be coupled together with Storage Elements. The refrigeration units should always be positioned centrally, to which one, two, three or four add-on modules can be added with a maximum of 2 storage Elements on either side of the refrigeration unit. Two end panels complete the run. The overall length of each run can be extended by adding additional refrigeration units. To fill up the most narrow spaces there are also storage Elements available that have widths of 41cm (54cm widths are standard).

The varieties of combinations are endless making it possible for end users to compose their ideal bar. Depending on the ambient temperature the inner temperature range may be set between +2C and +12C.

The difference about the CHILL Elements CHILL Elements are unique due to their modern, stylish design. All fronts are without visible handles giving the bar a nice minimalistic look with uninterrupted lines. The fronts of the Elements are brushed by powder coating. Fronts can be painted in all different RAL colour options. The finishing can be either high gloss or mat.

The glass doors can be equipped with Equal-LED lighting as an option. To maintain the minimalistic looks of the counter it can be equipped with a central locking system which is not visible from the outside.

Besides LED- lighting we have used low-energy-consumption fan motors and a cooling unit which runs on R290 refrigerant. This results in energy savings up to 30%.

- Shinny stainless steel interior - Self-closing doors- Self-closing drawers, with shock absorbers as option- R290 energy efficient, environmental friendly refrigerant- Legs which can be adjusted in height and which have access from the inside- Machine units on a cassette which can be taken out completely for service and maintenance. These cassettes have a strong rigid frame- Bottle compartment can be taken out for easy cleaning- Integrated (handle less) grips all over the entire widths of all fronts. There are no openings since there is no panel construction. Each body is rigid, well isolated so keeping cold air and noise of fan motors inside the cabinet.- Melting water drip trays in plug ready models QE/MU and QE/MUB are standard equipped with heating elements to make sure that all water will be evapo- rated. Therefore the drip trays will never overflow. These elements have regulators which only turn them on in case the water level requires this. This way we save energy.- It is possible to make plug ready installations (with machine units QE/MU and/ or QE/MUB) or installations for remote applications (with evaporator Elements QE/R and/or QE/MUBR). In case of remote installations the evaporator Elements should be connected with condensing units which are to be placed outside the bar.

Design Options:- Fronts available in all possible RAL colour options (high gloss or mat)- Fronts available in brushed Stainless Steel. Product extensions: SS- Coloured Equal-led lighting in glass doors and drawers with glass fronts- Central electronic locking system- Storage Elements available in both 54cm and 41cm width- Curved installations. “Under the hood”

For the need of service and maintenance there is an easy access to the machine unit. The total unit can be taken out completely on a slide from the front side.

Installation friendlyCHILL Elements have mainly been developed to be used as permanent equipment in your bar outlet. For easy cleaning, service, maintenance or to repair the machine unit it can be taken out totally from the front side. Your entire buffet should not be moved. The upper part of the unit is the cold area. A large powerful but silent fan distributes the cold our through the entire counter. It is supported by air flow conduct boards. These air flow conduct boards can guide more cold air to either the left or right side depending on the position of the machine unit in between the storage elements.

The lower front part takes in neutral air from the surrounding area to cool down the machine unit. This lower part also houses the control panel with digital thermostat, main switch and cylinder for the central locking system.

Before and during installation one should always keep in mind to have 1cm of extra space around all Elements. This open space is needed to guarantee an ideal cooling performance and to make sure that doors and drawers can be opened fine.

The front panel is a right hinged door with a manual lock at the bottom. Behind this door you will find the control panel with main switch, the thermostat and cylinder for the central locking system as an option.

The light switch for the lights in the neighbouring storage Elements is positioned at the right side panel. This light switch and the thermostat sensor can easily be switched to the left side of the machine unit in case the installation requires this. Preparations have been made yet.

* Conditions: Te = -10C To guarantee a perfect performance in case of built-in we recommend adding 1cm in total width and height. It is recommended not to install the Elements without feet. Please always keep in mind the integrated handle at the top of each Element. To guarantee optimal grip there should be at least 1cm extra space between tops of Elements and cover / drip tray..

The front panel is a cover which is sealed to the body in front of the evaporator. By lifting this panel it can be taken forward and removed from the Element. Behind this front the control panel is situated with main switch, the thermostat and cylinder for the central locking system as an option.

The light switch for the lights in the neighbouring storage Elements is positioned at the right side panel. This light switch and the thermostat sensor can easily be switched to the left side of the machine unit in case the installation requires this. Preparations have been made yet. The stainless steel cover plates at both sides of the evaporator can be removed easily from the inside in case the unit needs service or maintenance.

The bottom panel is a frame sealed to the body in front of the machine compartment. By lifting this panel it can be taken forward and removed from the Element. Behind this front the control panel is situated with main switch, the thermostat and cylinder for the central locking system as an option.


The pvc part in the bottle compartment is delivered in high gloss black colour. However, this part is also available in different colours.

QE/MUBR Machine unit with bottle compartment for remote application

Instead of the lower front panel covering the machine compartment of the QE/MUB there is a drawer front. Since this unit is to be used for remote application it is not equipped with a compressor. The available spare underneath the bottle compartment can be used as a drawer. Under the bottle compartment there is a horizontal panel which holds the main switch, the thermostat and cylinder for the central locking system as an option.

Terms and conditions • Delivery: Prices are stated Ex Works, warehouse the Netherlands, unless otherwise indicated. • Lead Time: To be agreed in mutual consultation. (with a maximum of 6 weeks). Chill Equipment B.V. cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery, howsoever caused. • Prices: Prices are stated in Euro’s (€) per piece, excluding VAT, and valid till 31-12-2012. All such prices are subject to alteration without prior notice and all orders are accepted on the understanding that they will be invoiced at prices rul-ing at the day of despatch. The purchaser will have to pay the price as so invoiced. • Payment: Payment of goods will have to be effected in Euro’s (€) unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment needs to be executed within 30 days after despatch of the goods from Chill Equipment’s warehouse in The Netherlands. Additional payment terms indicated on order confirmation will apply. If the purchaser fails to pay in time he shall be considered in default by law. Chill Equipment B.V. shall have the right to charge interest at a rate of 1,5% per month on the instalment due but not yet paid. • Property of the goods: All goods supplied by Chill Equipment B.V. will remain the sole property of Chill Equipment B.V. until client has paid the invoice in full. • Warranty: Chill Equipment guarantees 1 year warranty on technical spare parts (such as compressors, thermostats, fan motors etc.). Labour and transport costs of technicians are not included. Warranty cases can only be dealt with if the default is reported within 1 week after first occurrence, products are originally Chill Equipment B.V. and no alterations have been made to the products and invoice payment is not due. This warranty does not apply for equipment which has been installed incorrectly, which has been misused or damaged by outside forces. • Liability: The liability of Chill Equipment B.V. is limited to the warranty clause mentioned above.
