Today’s Speaker: Kendal Hicks This morning we are delighted to welcome the Reverend Kendal
Hicks as our guest preacher. Kendal has preached and ministered
in nine states, and internationally, since his call to the ministry in
1983. A native of Sikeston, Missouri, he earned his Bachelor of
Science degree from the University of Missouri in 1983 and then
continued his formal education with a Master of Divinity earned
from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1986. He
has been a licensed and ordained Southern Baptist minister for
over 30 years and has had the privilege to minister to
congregations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana,
Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee.
Kendal is currently employed with the Natural Resources
Conservation Service, an agency of the United States Department
of Agriculture. His NRCS career has allowed him to serve many
local churches in a bi-vocational capacity. Kendal has been
married to Regina for 38 years and they are blessed with four
children and a two-year old granddaughter. Presently, Kendal
and his wife, Regina, maintain a residence in Alexandria,
