Chapter VIII Common Problems and Solutions of Operation and Maintenance

There are various reasons for the failures of mining farm or the miner. First, try to solve the problem by checking the network, upgrading the firmware, resetting, checking the wiring, replacing the power supply, recovering control board, cleaning up the dust, reducing ambient temperature, etc. If it's not solved, check electricity, environment and other aspects. If the problem can't be solved on site, it can be returned to customer service department for handling. The general problems and solutions can refer to the following:

I. Network Disconnected

1. The Entire Shelf Is Disconnected from the Network

Problem: The server flashes red or the green light is always on, and it is in a dead state

(1) Check whether the first fool switch has a power failure. If it's restored after poweringoff, the network can be restored just by powering on again;

(2) Replace the network port of the main network cable on the fool switch, and checkwhether there is a problem with the network port;

(3) If the network has not been restored after the network port is replaced, plug the mainnetwork cable to the next switch; if the lower layer network is restored, it indicates thatthe upper layer switch is damaged, so replace it and then the machine will be restored.If the network is not restored, the main network cable can be determined to be faulty,and the crystal connector shall be replaced. If it does not work, replace the entirenetwork cable;

2. Hierarchical Network Disconnection

Problem: The server flashes red or the green light is always on, and it is in a dead state

(1) Check whether the corresponding switch is powered off;

(2) Replace the connection network cable between the switch and the previous switch;

(3) If the above method doesn't work, replace the switch;
