860-53 ... That’s Steve Smith’s record in 27 seasons as head coach at Oak Hill Academy. He has been named National Coach of the Year by USA Today in 1994,

1999, 2004 and 2012. His teams have claimed eight mythical national champion-ships and they have been runner-up six times. In 2009 and 2012, he was honored

as the Naismith High School Coach of the Year.

Gary is the winningest coach in California H.S. basketball history 926-83 (92%). In thirty years at Mater Dei, his teams have won 9 State Championships, 13 Southern California Regional Championships, 21 CIF Championships and 29 League Champi-

onships. He has had more then 145 players go on to play NCAA division one

basketball and has had 6 players go on to play in NBA.

In 17 years at Glenbrook North H.S. Coach Weber has a record of 330-144. His 2005 team won the Illinois State Championship

and his 2003 team placed 3rd. He also has won 11 straight Conference Championships. Before Glenbrook North Dave was an assistant at Eastern Illinois, Texas – San Antonio, UC Santa

Barbara, and Arizona State.

Steve has the best overall winning percentage of any coach in Indiana who has coached at least 10 years. 403-133 in 15 years.

At New Castle his team has won 14 Championships, including 2006 3A State Championship. His record at New Castle is

an impressive 252-92. New Castle is the home of the largest H.S. gym in the world, seating 9,325.

His record speaks for itself – 741-239 (74% winning percentage). He holds state records: 65 straight wins and 110 consecutive wins

in the central suburban conference and a 1988 state title. Twenty Six League Cham-pionships, 22 Regional Championships, 10 Sectional

Championships, Seven Supersectional Championships and Elite Eights, plus five Final Fours.

820 wins, Three State Championships, and 19 Conference titles. In 2005, Petitgoue was picked as the all-time H.S. coach of the

century. Jerry is the all-time winningest coach in Wisconsin H.S. basketball history.

This former Clemson assistant (four years) is the second winningest coach in North Carolina H.S. Basketball history

704-224. His teams have won nine state titles and in 31 years as a head coach he has only one losing season.

In her 19 year career at Arch Bishop Mitty H.S., Coach Phillips has an outstanding record of 557-96 while playing the toughest

schedule in California. Her teams have won five state titles, nine Northern California Championships and 17 League

and Central Coast Sectional Championships.

After 36 years of coaching at Central Elkader (eight years) and Mid-Prarie (28 years), Don has complied a record of 562-294 and has taken

six teams to the state tournament. As important, he has been named U.S.A. Basketball Developmental Coach of the Year and during that time won three gold

medals for our country in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

In eight years his accomplishments have been many at the tradition rich Pershing H.S. in Detroit. His teams have achieved the following: 2009 State Champions, 2008 State Runner-Up, Detroit City Champions 2009 and 2010, four-time Regional

Champions, and eight-time District Champions.

Mary has won 10 NJISAA State Championships and the last six in a row at Rutgers Prep. Her 28 year record is an impressive

445-200. She has been named Private School and Courier News Coach of the Year. Since 2010 she has been on the board of

directors for the WBCA.
