Rich Drolet, Ed.D.Superintendent of Schools

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Dr. Rich Drolet is entering his 3rd year as Superintendent of Seekonk Schools. Prior to joining the Seekonk

School Department, he worked as Director of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, and Accountability for

the Uxbridge Public Schools. A former recipient of Rhode Island's Middle School Principal of the Year, he

brings over 20 years of experience in the field of education having held various roles including classroom

teacher, assistant principal, principal and district-wide administrator. He holds a doctorate in educational

leadership from Johnson & Wales University. Although currently a resident of North Smithfield where he

lives with his wife and three sons, Dr. Drolet's familiarity with Seekonk stretches back to his childhood

where he attended church at the former St. Mary's Parish in the north end of town and his kids learned to

swim in our very own Mayers Natatorium.

Zachary WaddicorAssistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Zachary Waddicor joined the Seekonk Public Schools in 2018 as the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. His experience in the field of education runs deep having held jobs as classroom teacher, Associate Principal, Principal and most recently as the Director of Curriculum for Elementary Education for the Falmouth Public Schools. A recent recipient of the “Educator of the Year” award from the Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education, Zach holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University.

Jill BrilhanteSchool Business Administrator

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Jill Brilhante joined the School Department as the new School Business

Administrator on July 1, 2018. She brings over 20 years of work

experience in a financial setting, 10 of those years spent working in the

field of education. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Jill holds a

Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Some of her major

responsibilities include School Dept. Budget, School Business Office (i.e.

payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, etc.), and oversight of our School

Lunch, Transportation, Human Resources and Facilities/Maintenance

services.

Susan DoeSpecial Education Director

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Susan Doe is in her 9th year as our Director of Special Education. Susan has extensive

experience on the special education continuum. Prior to joining Seekonk, Susan was

Somerset’s Special Education Director for 6 years and Special Education Director at a

residential school. Susan’s passion lies in advocating on behalf of students. Susan began her

career as a special education teacher in both the collaborative and public school settings.

Included in her role is oversight of the Special Education Department, English Language

Learner Services and School Nurses in collaboration with the school administrators. Susan

holds a Master's Degree in Education from Lesley University and a Certificate of Advanced

Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College.

Colleen TerrillDirector of Technology and Digital Learning

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Colleen Terrill is entering her second year as Seekonk Public Schools’ Director of

Technology and Digital Learning. Prior to this appointment, she worked as a Director of

Instructional Technology for five years, as well as a grade two, seven and grade six

teacher for Mashpee Public Schools for a total of 20 years. She is a local, national and

international presenter for numerous technology conferences and is an associate

professor for Fitchburg State University. She holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary

Education and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership.

She is the mom of two adult children; Kaeleigh and Dylan. She resides with her husband

in Mashpee.

Bridget McNamaraAdmin. Assistant to Superintendent of Schools/School Committee

Maintains the District website calendar of events and uploads any documentation at the direction of the Superintendent. Prepares employment postings as directed by administrators on the District website. Processes staff and volunteer fingerprinting/CORI background checks, maintains, updates and distributes up-to-date list of approved individuals, and maintains secure fingerprinting/CORI files. Maintains the District’s Policy Manual and index of policies; tracks the acceptance of all policies and uploads the same to the District’s website upon acceptance. Receives, records and tracks notifications of anticipated retirement, requests for transfer, and leaves of absence for the purpose of staff planning. Prepares and maintains seniority lists for all collective bargaining units. Prepares and assures posting of public notice of School Committee meetings in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. Prepares School Committee packets, attends all meetings of the School Committee and keeps full and accurate minutes of all meetings of the School Committee. Assists in the preparation of agendas setting forth all known items of business to be considered at School Committee meetings.

Amie Griffin Admin. Asst. to the Asst. Superintendent & Technology Director

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Provides clerical support for the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Technology. Maintains databases for curriculum, technology, and professional development. Prepares and maintains Chromebook database for information, insurance and distribution. Prepares requisition for curriculum, technology, and professional development purchases. Provides support to the Data Specialist to provide backup support for State Data Reporting. Maintains databases which include but are not limited to Thrive Software, Rediker, and SchoolDude. Maintains database for Homeless/Foster students and track enrollment in partnership with the Transportation Director. Corresponds with homeschool families regarding required paperwork and maintains database for homeschool students and tracks their enrollment. Assists with compliance of Title I, II-A, and IV grant requirements. Facilitates ordering process for Assistant Superintendent and Director of Technology. Manages substitute teacher interviews and maintains database (Frontline/AESOP) for substitute teachers and aides. Verifies certifications for professional staff.

Dawn Menard Payroll and Benefits Coordinator (recently replaced Tracey Lavoie)

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Processes bi-weekly payroll and coordinates benefits for

approximately 350+ district employees. Handles employment and

salary verifications and work history requests. Maintains payroll

files including vacation, sick and personal. Processes retiree

applications for MTRS and Bristol County Retirement.

Frank Braga Transportation Director

Central Office Staff2020-2021

Handles all transportation for the District. Coordinates

McKinney Vento and Foster transportation and residency

compliance duties. Oversight of Crossing Guards including

hiring and training. Prepares monthly lunch claims and

oversees Free and Reduced Lunch eligibility. Maintains a

new hire database. Meets with new hires to collect all

necessary paperwork for payroll.

Kate Ledoux Accounts Payable Specialist

Processes all payments of invoices to provide the supplies,

materials and services necessary to keep the District in

operation. Processes receipts and completes turnover

sheets for building use. Prepares vendor credit

Mileena Delgado Purchasing/Finance Coordinator

Handles all purchasing for the District. Processes receipts and

completes turnover sheets for lost book, athletics, summer SAT

and swim. Prepares financial monthly reports, journal entries and

assists with budget preparation.

Julie Braga Special Services Admin. Assistant in Charge of Evaluations

Confidential Liaison for the IEP process with all Pupil Support Services and staff for Pre-School and Out-of-District levels for the district. Initiates the process of all Special Education referrals, and all 3-year reevaluations consent forms and team meetings. Prepares all Out-of-District (OOD) student referrals, testing, meetings, IEP’s, and 688’s. Arranges and coordinates the evaluation testing for the additional support services for the special education staff. Manages Special Education Web-based program currently ESPED for the district. Processes mailings for SEPAC and Parent Right Notices. Manages 504 student data and records. Liaison for all Pre-School registration and payments. Maintains purchase requisitions for the special services office at the request of the Special Education Director.

Amy Infante Special Services Admin. Assistant in Charge of IEP Data

Confidential Liaison for the IEP process with all Pupil Support Services and staff at all levels within the district. Coordinates the team IEP process after findings of eligibility and acts as the gatekeeper to the IEP by sending out the IEPs to maintain regulatory compliance. Maintains all IEP, homeschooled, home & hospital tutoring correspondence and records. Maintains all purchase order requisitions per request of Special Education Director and recordkeeping of the OOD tuition, Circuit Breaker spreadsheets, and services invoices. Manages the English Language Learners (ELL) records for all English Language teachers.
