A bad thing is that they can go off during a lesson and disrupt the class. Even though there are some negative effects of allowing cell phones in classrooms, there are just as much positive effects. I believe that middle and high school students should be allowed to use their cell phones in classrooms.

Should Cell Phones be Banned because they Might Go Off and Disrupt the Class??

Some schools think that cell phones should be banned because they might go off when students are doing their assignments and they might disrupt the class. However, most students disrupt class by talking when the teacher is talking and the teacher just ignores them. Students are just as disruptive as cell phones so why shouldn’t teachers ignore cell phones the same way they ignore students.
