Greetings from the beautiful island of Cebu in the Philippines. We would love to have you come a

see for yourself God's splendor in the islands.

Church Ministries

Previously I reviewed our

Children's Ministries and

our Youth and Young

Adult Ministries with a promise to bring you

updates on our adult

ministries in the future.

The time is now.

Women's Ministry

On the first Sunday of each month bout20-25 women get together to study the

Word, share about life with each other

and plan ways to be active in serving theLord. The women are the most active in

serving in our Feeding Ministries bycooking, serving the kids and all round

helping.

Men's Ministry

The second Sunday of each

month our men get together to

study the Word. They are

currently going through the

Minor Prophets. It is a time

of bonding and growing in

spirit for our limited number

of men in the church.

Prayer Ministries

We have 2 prayer ministries. Every Monday evening we

have an extended prayer meeting where we pray for

request we receive from all over the world.

Every morning, M-F, we have a household devotion

and prayer meeting where we pray for the most

needed requests. This is open to the church. All of the

members of the house take turns in doing devotions to

assist in developing their teaching and sharing skills.

Women's

Livelihood

Ministry

Our women meet

monthly to work on

a livelihood

program to learnto support

themselves. They

have been making

jewelry to sell butit is a slow process

so they are

working on otherideas to help

increase theirproduction and

earningcapabilities.

Woman We recently began this ministry after being trained by

CC Downey's summer team. we have 12 disciplers,

discipling 15 women currently with a number of

women waiting for our next kick-off in January to be

discipled.

Praise and Worship

We have a strong Praise and Worship team led b

a young engineer (by trade) but a very gifted

musician and a love for the Lord. We play many

types of Christian Music and have over 300

songs in our library.

Feeding Ministries

We are currently involved in 4 feeding

ministries, soon to add a fifth andperhaps resume a 6th. We are feeding

over 1500 children per week andsharing Jesus with them. In October w

will add one more with another 400-500 children bringing our weekly tota

to over 2000 children. This involves 5

teachers, 12 cooks, 10 servers, 4dishwashers and a host of other

servants.

Pastors and Workers Conference

This October 15-17 we will help to host the 7thAnnual Visayas/Mindanao Pastors and Workers

conference along with Calvary Chapel Cebu

and Calvary Chapel Mactan.

Our theme is "A Man After God's Own Heart". I

am blessed to be the MC again this year and

will be sharing in one of the sessions about the

Life of Moses.

On November 5th I will begin training th

qualified men in our church how to

disciple other men one on one using the

Titus2Men materials from Calvary Chape

Downey. We will plan our kick-off for

November 19th.
