CBRE Acquires Columbia Affiliate

CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBG) has acquired CBRE | Columbia, a commercial real estate servicesfirm and CBRE affiliate in Columbia, SC that has been in operation since 1996.

With the latest acquisition, CBRE has now brought all of its South Carolina operations under asingle, integrated, corporate-owned platform. During the past 18 months the commercial real estatefirm has acquired its former affiliates across the state, beginning with Charleston in October 2013followed by Greenville in January 2014.

The move helps enhance CBRE's ability to meet needs of investors and occupiers across the state.

The Columbia office is staffed by more than 20 professionals and is one of the region's leadingproviders of brokerage and property management services. CBRE | Columbia principals Stan Harpe,Ben Brantley, and Martin Moore join the company along with senior professionals Ansel Bunch,Aaron Dupress, Sandra Johnson, Jonathan Harvey, and Amy Stuck.
