1. Parents must be married in the Catholic Church. 2. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must
make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized.
3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation).
4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married.
5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come.
6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at 272-3463 to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class.
7. Baptism in English is every 3rd Sunday of each month after the 10am Mass.

Every Thursday, Fr. Alex will have open office from 4 - 5:30pm for anyone who wants to see
him. No need for an appointment but alloted time is limited to 15 minutes.

Dear Parishioners: When I came to St. Bede as Pastor, one of the things I was asked to do by the Archdiocese was to make a new will. It was then that I began to think more seriously about material possessions and death. Leaving the Church in your final will and testament is a Holy act. What greater testament could be made to the world, family and God than to say, I support my parish Church even in the end. Please consider leaving
St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in your Final Will and Testament. It assures that our parish will continue to do for others what it has done to bless you and help into paradise.

SUMMER MASS SCHEDULE AT ST. BEDE. BEGINNING JUNE 1ST UNTIL AUGUST 17TH, THERE WILL BE NO 8:30AM MASS ON FRIDAYS WHEN SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is June 25 – 28, from 9-12noon. These are for rising Kindergarten through rising 4th grade children. Registration forms are in the church vestibule and needs to be turned in to the church office no later than Thursday, June 14th. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS, please call the Parish office at 272-3463. It takes many hands to work with the little ones. There are numerous options for you to choose from. It is a very rewarding experience. 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Nicholas J. Napolitano
on Wednesday, May 23 at St. Bede Church.
Penelope R. Rammelkamp , who passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018. Surviving relatives are children, Elizabeth Segrest (Richard), Tony Paskon, Amy Maloney (Matt O’Laughlin) and grandchildren, Lexie, Chance, Dylan & Kathleen. Funeral Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Alejandro E. Valladares and concelebrated by Father Nicholas J. Napolitano and Father Philip A. McKenna on Thursday, May 24 at St. Bede Church.

Narrow Lane Road, to remain open around the clock, giving honor and glory to Jesus
in the Blessed Sacrament. Give Jesus one hour a week and He will pour out grace upon grace for you and
your family and for the entire world! HOURS MOST NEEDED: Sun: 3-4am; Tue: 12MN-1am; Sat: 3-4am. These hours are in immediate need and would be most appreciated, but we also welcome you to choose any hour during the week that will work for you. St. Margaret Services assists the poor, the frail and the elderly. Items needed are tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, laundry detergent, dish detergent, any household cleaning agent, bath soap, toothpaste, etc. Donations may be brought to St. Bede church the weekends of May 26/27 and June 2/3 and placed in the blue cart in the church vestibule. They will be delivered to St. Margaret's office.
