Note.— The Patent Silver Beix Banjos, are the fruit of a life-long study and experiment, by the only real inven-

tor among the many self called banjo inventors of the present age. Mr. Henry C. Dobson stands alone at the top of the list of

professional artist banjo makers of America, being a truly artistic performer, and a teacher of great ability for thirty years.

It it only necessary to say for his banjos, that they are made by artistic workmen, under the supervision of this great in-

ventor at his place of business in Hew York.

N. B.— Tilton Guitars with ebony or ivory pegs, instead of patent machine heads, furnished at short notice.

THE TILTON GUITAR is made of the best seasoned stock, rosewood, elegantly finished, and is orna-

mental as well as useful. There is a sounding post running through the body, giving great strength to the

instrument, and making the tone very full and sweet.

THE STRINGS are fastened to a metallic tail-piece, and the danger of having the bridge pulled ofi", so

common with the old style guitars, is avoided; it also leaves the sounding-board free from the usual strain ot

the strings, and removes all impediments to the fullest vibration.
