It gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the inaugural meeting of the Liberal Speakers Group (LSG) on Tuesday 7 November 2006 in the Dixson Room at the Mitchell Library, Macquarie Street, Sydney. The meeting will commence at 7:00pm and conclude at 9:00pm. The aim of the LSG is to provide a forum to discuss political issues of the day and increase member’s knowledge of important issues.The format will be interactive with an open discussion moderated by the Chairman. Each month we will have a guest speaker who will talk on topical matters of importance to public life and political debate. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the points raised. .In addition, a monthly political quiz will be held at each LSG meeting and attendees will also review significant matters in the parliament and politics over the preceding month.All meetings will be informal with members and guests not required to register. The meeting is a free event with light refreshments provided. The LSG will be held on the first Tuesday of each month (excluding January).I look forward to seeing you at the launch of this most exciting initiative of the NSW Division.
