Course overview Weatherford Petroleum Consulting is pleased to announce a Cased Hole Well Log Interpretation Seminar this spring. Attendees will learn basic open hole tool concepts and cased hole logging tool principles, their applications and log interpretation. Using cased hole logging data you will learn cased hole reservoir evaluation concepts. Technologies such as sector bond and ultrasonic cement evaluation, and various casing integrity tools will be used to evaluate cement and casing integrity. Production logging data will be utilized to evaluate the fluids and formation behind casing. The attendees will use actual field log data in exercises to learn these techniques and other applications including identifying gas migration sources, cross flow and channel identification, determining the effectiveness of remedial work and stimulations, log quality control, and more.
