Wave Wireless was selected to provide a public safety distributed antenna system for the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C. The $177.3 million dollar renovation is one of the highest profile government projects in D.C. and Wave Wireless was honored to be a part of the project. The Challenge Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Washington, D.C. Modern building design and construction techniques make it incredibly difficult for emergency responders to use their two- way radios inside a building. The Duke Ellington School of the Arts presented additional challenges, since it is a LEED GOLD building, making it harder for reliable wireless coverage. Largely due to their expansive interdepartamental public safety communication network, Washington, D.C. has some of the most stringent DAS requirements in the nation.
