CUSTOMER BACKGROUND
A leading security giant added zest to zeal by going for Ramco ERP. By centralizing PAN India practices, improving Personnel-Finance connect, ensuring accurate billing and payroll, and complying with all statutory and regulatory norms, the company has fast-tracked its path to success.
The company was founded in 1996, to cater to the business support services domain after extensively studying the needs of the Indian market.
Since then, the company has grown from a garage start-up to a leading business conglomerate. Building the business without any funding or loans for over a decade was no mean task, but a clear focus made it possible. In November 2007, the company partnered with a leading Swedish security giant, thereby taking the company to an entirely new scale.

The group today offers a range of services including Manpower Guarding, Facility Management, Employee Verification and Technology & Engineering Solutions. They have an established network in over 180 cities with over 20,000 employees in India; with large global network in over 52 countries supported by 3,00,000 employees.
The company takes pride in focusing keenly on the customers’ requirements and developing new service models to deliver customized solutions, which are professionally managed by the best talent in the industry. They have adopted a scalable business approach, in tandem with their belief that growth is the only constant.
SPECKLED WITH CHALLENGES
Growth brings along its share of challenges too! The company also faced a horde of small but nagging hindrances, such as disconnect between the personnel and finance departments, and wrong and incomplete attendance. They had a bit of information technology (IT) at work in their company. However, the existing setup did not seem to address their problems as the company grew in size and volume of business.
They decided to turn to an ERP system to implement centralized control and business practices across the country, especially for salary and invoicing; to fix revenue leakages and wrong invoicing issues; and to ensure attendance-based salary and statutory practices.
After evaluating several solutions, they zeroed in on Ramco ERP. Together, the company and Ramco set out on a journey of transformation—from good to best practices. They estimated that the prevailing invoicing and collection practices, infrastructure to support change, and the need to incorporate client-specific requirements, would be the key pain areas on the path to implementing an ERP solution for the Group. However, they set out confident that these could be overcome with Ramco’s flexible solution and wide expertise. Hence, they entered into a multi-year implementation contract

After studying the company’s business and their specific problems, Ramco offered a solution comprising modules such as Procurement Management, Inventory Management, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Book-Keeping, Facility Management (Guarding & Rostering), Human Resource Management and Payroll. Since the company has a global collaboration, Ramco ERP’s Global Tax Solution (GTS) also turned out to be very handy.
Slowly, as the system became operational, every department started experiencing noticeable benefits. Departments like PO & PR and Finance benefited from centralized, online and integrated processes, the human capital management (HCM) function that includes reimbursement, travel and payroll noticed improvements through centralized HCM policy and client-oriented payroll, while there was an overall increase in the levels of security and data integrity throughout all functions.

Common practices have been implemented PAN India with business clarity, and there is now centralized control over all practices. Error-free salary and invoicing has made the management confident, not to forget the relief at having all statutory and compliance issues handled accurately! All in all, the implementation that spans 17+ branches and 100+ users, with 79 GB+ database size, 31+ business process changes (BPCs), 338+ components, 1800+ user interfaces and 160+ reports, has resulted in overall delight for many.
