As per CB scheme, selection mechanism of candidates for SeMTs:
Temporary staffing – Wet leasing
Direct recruitment from open market, to replace temporary staff
Deputation from within the Government/PSUs

Role of NISG
Agreement with NISG provides for
Recruitment, replacement and HR management of NeGD and SeMT
personnel by NISG
NeGD to frame policy and guidelines, oversee and facilitate HR function
NISG is also involved in conducting Phase I and Phase II Training
Recruitments to SeMTs
• Advertisement issued on 21st June 2010
• Recruitments for 29 States held from 30th August to 16th of September, 2010.
• 327 positions in 35 States and UTs
• 215 candidates shortlisted and 89 on hold
• Selected candidates likely to be positioned in the States by November-December.
• NISG would be conducting the Orientation training.
