On the occasion of the 10-year-anniversary of Berlins

appointment as a UNESCO “City of Design“, the first volume of

Berlins Design Digest was published in April 2017. On the basis

of 100 international projects, products and processes located

in Berlin, the book demonstrates how Berlin has succesfully

established sustainable ties to the world in recent years.

More than 70.000 people work in Berlin‘s digital industry!

The first volume of Berlin Digital Digest is set for publication in

2018. In this volume, Berlin companies, institutions, networks and

agencies present their digital products, projects and

processes. Best-Practise-Projects on matters such as IOT,

VR, Smart Mobility, Wearable Technologies, Digital Education,

Robotics, Games, Interaction Design and many more.

Berlin Digital Digest is published in English language and will

be available in selected national and international book stores.

The volume is scheduled for publication in spring 2018.

quality, all participants pay a staggered production costs subsidy,

which was the same case with Berlin Design Digest.

In addition to the presented projects, the volume will also contain

multiple impulse essays of experts from the industry. For further

Visual Design

The clear and simple pattern enables the presentation of a

variety of projects. A short text introduces the corporation, the

institutions, the network or the agency. An additional text field

lists contact information and detailed subtitles describe the

projects either entirely or in their single parts.

The editors of Berlin Digital Digest

Robert Eysoldt is a strategic and creative consultant in Berlin who

develops and conducts international communication formats for

agencies and corporations. From 2009 to 2015, he served as an

honorary board member of CREATE BERLIN, a network of Berlin‘s

Design and Creative Industry. Since 2012 he has been a member in

the committee for Creative Industries of the Chamber of Industry

and Commerce. He is also the initiator of “Farbwerte“, a project

office which has implemented more than 25 exhibitions and projects

worldwide to this day. zerooverhead.de

Raban Ruddigkeit is a designer and author in his chosen home

city Berlin. He has won more than 100 national and international

awards and served as board member of the interdisciplinary

design network CREATE BERLIN from 2009 until 2012. He is the

editor of “Freistil – The Book Of Illustrators“ and Co-Editor of

“Typodarium“ and “Photodarium“. ruddigkeit.de

Slanted Publishers is an independent publishing house, founded by

Julia Kahl and Lars Harmsen. The house issues its own magazine,
