Experiment No. 2 LINE COMMANDS THROUGH COORDINATE SYSTEM 1. Objective(s): CREATE an object using different coordinate system. DEVELOP critical thinking on different figure using different coordinate system. DISCUSS the different techniques in AutoCAD figures. APPLY knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to solve complex engineering problems 2. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs): The students shall be able to: 2.1 Create an object using different coordinate system at AutoCAD Software. 2.2 Develop critical thinking on selecting techniques using the different coordinate system. 2.3 Apply knowledge in mathematical computation using geometrical coordinates. 2.4 Discuss the different application of each coordinate system in AutoCAD. 3. Discussion: Coordinate system is important in terms of creating a figure or an object in AutoCAD in which is the foundation on developing a certain object or figure in a basic format. Application of geometry course is one of the best techniques in AutoCAD, by then it could be much easy to create and develop a figure or an object for every activity that set with this manual. Using the command prompt, type the specific coordinates for the desire figure or object in particular with its developmental procedure that will set for a better output. Experiment No. 2LINE COMMANDS THROUGH COORDINATE SYSTEM

1. Objective(s): CREATE an object using different coordinate system. DEVELOP critical thinking on different figure using different coordinate system. DISCUSS the different techniques in AutoCAD figures. APPLY knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to solve complex engineering

problems2. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs):

The students shall be able to:2.1 Create an object using different coordinate system at AutoCAD Software.2.2 Develop critical thinking on selecting techniques using the different coordinate system.2.3 Apply knowledge in mathematical computation using geometrical coordinates.2.4 Discuss the different application of each coordinate system in AutoCAD.

3. Discussion:Coordinate system is important in terms of creating a figure or an object in AutoCAD in which is the foundation on developing a certain object or figure in a basic format. Application of geometry course is one of the best techniques in AutoCAD, by then it could be much easy to create and develop a figure or an object for every activity that set with this manual.

Using the command prompt, type the specific coordinates for the desire figure or object in particular with its developmental procedure that will set for a better output.

The three (3) major coordinate system used in CAD: Absolute Coordinate, Relative Cartesian Coordinate and Polar Coordinate systems in creating a figure or object.

5. Procedure:

1. USING ABSOLUTE COORDINATE ENTRY2. USING REALTIVE COORDINATE ENTRY

3. USING RELATIVE POLAR COORDINATE

4. USING DIRECT DISTANCE ENTRY

Specify a point by moving your pointing device to the direction of the point and entering a distance.

5. USING DYNAMIC INPUT

The distance and angle windows will be displayed on the model space/ drawing area. Entering the data will

be set on this window. By pressing the TAB key is to shift from distance window to the angle window for continuous entry of the desire distance and angle.

6. USING POLAR SNAP TRACKING

The direction of the point and temporary alignment paths to locate point will be set into a constant distance and angle.
