Barbara Moulton, Designer

An interior designer with over 30 years of experience, Sales and Designer Barbara Moulton has been influenced by such designers and architects as Syrie Maugham, Billy Baldwin, John Saladino, Rudolph Schlindler and Frank Gehry. Her work includes the co-design of the Foley’s stores at Barton Creek and North Star malls.

“Stone is an essential component that sets the stage in the design of any building or structure.”

AvenueThis unique stonework, which can be easily

modified to fit around any firebox, can be traced to vintage designs. The designer was also inspired to

create the look after a visit to New York City.

Stevan Schutt, Designer

Stevan’s admiration is reserved for designers and architects who have proven successful over time. Beyond their personal style, he applauds their ability to find a look that registers with people.

“Stone adds rigidness to designs. It creates a bold statement, and a timelessness and sense of longevity.”

BlazeThe curved facade integrates a new charcoal

limestone into the design element. The intent was to produce a piece both minimalistic and modern. The elegant simplicity yields a certain prominence and

sense of chic - a true visual centerpiece for any space.

Mike Arbuckle, Designer

Mike has been influenced by Santiago Calatrava, Richard Neutra, Frank Lloyd Wright, Adolf Loos and Victor Horta. He is currently a Sales Assistant at our Austin branch.

“Stone brings texture and structure to any space and with it, a certain level of refinement and presence.”

BoulevardInspired by the texture created by the push/pull of ba-sic modules, the unique cladding of this double-sided fireplace can be enjoyed from 360 degrees (in dou-ble-sided application). The simplistic design yields a visually complex facade, with modules extruded at

different thicknesses for a truly unique texture.

“Stone bridges the gap between nature and architecture. Using stone is a wonderful way to bring the outside in.”

CanvasA design that is both simple and respectful of its medium. The linear firebox provides the

warm horizontal flow of the flame, and the large canvas display the natural beauty of the stone.

“I love stone as an architectural element because of its natural beauty.”

Chelsea SquareThis bold design uses black marble to de-liver a sharp contrast with the white man-tle. The feel is of a Paris hotel, circa 1929. Note how the art deco mantle picks up the

white-veined accents of the marble.

“Stone brings a sense of permanence and value to a design.”

hued hearth for added color and additional shape.

on top of one another to create a striking blend of form and function. Reminiscent of

Yesenia Miller

Influences by mid-century and modern design, Yesenia is a Design and Sales Associate who cites Richard Neutra, Charles and Ray Eames, Albert Frey and Alexander Girard as her architectural and design influences.

“Stone provides the beauty of a natural element that can be incorporated into any interior or exterior design.”

ManhattanThe clean, modern design is a classic Eames era

look. Square boxes and rectangular shapes interlock for a modular facade. The natural hue and texture of the stonework is most prominent, combining a sense

of the natural with modernistic lines.

Erin Munson,Designer

“By using stone in an architectural application, it will give your space structure and will add a focal point to any room.”

NicheThe niched display area is a revision to the

traditional mantle-top display area, framing a distinctive focal point. With the mantle clear of

objects, the fireplace maintains a pure silhouette, and artwork on the wall will display without obstruction.

RippleThe three-dimensional wave design and subtle texture

are sculptural, not just visual, and evoke the sand-dune imagery. This is a blend of art and architecture, in which the facade of sandy-textured waves soften

the rising vertical columns and mantle.
