In August 2018 we raised the prices at this account by 33%. As expected and as an often seen effect after the adjustments less people bought items out of those vending machines. We expect a normalization in 2019, after people get used to the new prices.

Nevertheless profits increased by +7.4% while the products we bought decreased by -16.2%. One positive side effect was that in Q4 we saved many hours of work because of less products we had to place. Calculation is based on average buying and selling prices for all products.

While we had to raise the prices for our snacks, we figured out another way to make more profits on our soda products.

Since October 2018 we buy our sodas from a new source.Compared to purchases made at the wholesaler Sam’s Club we were able to reduce costs for these products by up to 19% and increase our profits margin by up to 58%. No adjustments needed of the end price. We expect a positive effect in 2019 of the affected 42 Soda Machines and 15 Combo Machines.After purchase of this business we will provide a detailed Documentation with all informations.
