Compression Ratio

Pump compression ratio is taken as the direct ratio existing between the pressure of compressed air feeding the pump and the pressure at which the pumped product comes out. Normally, the compression ratio is obtained by the difference in diameter between the air motor piston A and liquid pump-ing piston B

Ratio 1:1 For Bulk Transfer Of Low To Medium Viscosity Fluids (Max 25 ft.)

It can be noted that the smaller the size of the pumping piston compared to the air motor piston, the greater the pressure of liquid delivered, but the lower the amount of liquid delivered (capacity). For example, in the grease pump with Ratio 50:1, where the diameter of the motor piston 14.5 mm, the pressure of grease coming out is 50 times higher than the pressure of the air feeding it.

Ratio 3:1 For Short Range Distribution Of Medium To High Viscosity Fluids (Max 50 ft. + Reel)

Ratio 5:1 For Dispensing Liquids Of Medium To High Viscosity Fluids (Max 100 ft. + 1 Reel)
