SUBSTATIONS
We install a comprehensive range of equipment from all leading manufactures including up to 33kV SF6, Vacuum, Oil and Air Switchgear.
CABLES
We undertake cable installations, jointing, terminating and testing to all types of cable and cable accessories including trailing cables up to 33kV.
EARTHING
We undertake site surveys, install and test earthing and lightning protectionsystems.
AUXILIARY SERVICES
We undertake general services, LVAC Power and Plant Lighting, Area and Street Lighting, UPS and DC systems, Ventilation and Air-conditioning, MotorControl Centres, Process Control and Back-Up Generators.
HIGH VOLTAGE OVERHEAD
DISTRIBUTION
We design and install bare and insulated overhead distribution systems up to 33kV including outdoor switchgear and transformers.
Treated wooden pole structures are used for the pylons. Safety is of paramount importance and thus a special training facility for workers has been built where working at height - and installation training can be performed in a non-construction site environment.
Open and aerial bundle type reticulation is done for both rural and industrial applications.
Workers skills levels and fear of height are tested here without risking their safety on a construction site where there may be noise and external work pressures that may cause serious injuries or fatalities.
SERVICES
STREETLIGHTS AND HI MAST LIGHTS
Many kilometers of street light installations have been done for various clients, including the maintenance thereof in sub-tropical climate conditions.
Experience includes reliability of various types of equipment with the respective illumination levels. The hydraulic type fold down and the scissors type Hi Mast Lights, all hot dipped galvanized are beingmaintained.
POLE INSPECTION SERVICES
• Visual and internal inspection of wood transmission, distribution andtelephone line poles.
• Internal and external treatment of wood inspection, distribution and telephoneline poles.
• Visual inspections of structures and hardware i.e. insulators, transformers, stay-wires etc.
• Reporting of defects, year of treatment, primary treat specification and pole classification.
• Pole numbering by means of labels.
• Mapping of poles by means of Global Positioning Satellite.
• Training of inspectors for the above.
