Dear Saint Mary School Families,
The second trimester is coming to a close and we are headed into the
final stretch of the school year. We are looking forward to warmer
weather and fun springtime activities.
The SAB sponsored Mardi Gras and Night at the Races which was such
a fun night! Thank you to everyone who supported this event. We have
a few events coming up over the next few months that you won’t want
to miss…..
Join us for our 4th Annual Trivia Night. Gather your friends for a fun night
of trivia and battle it out against other teams for the First Place Prize.
Tables are filling up quickly so don’t delay!
In April we will be having our Father/Daughter Dance AND a Mother/
Son event. Look for more information in the upcoming weeks for these
events.
Please mark your calendars for May 17th….the 6th Annual Saint Mary
School Golf Outing will take place. This event sells out quickly so be sure
to reserve your spot ASAP.
Be sure to look through the HASA newsletter for more details for upcom-
ing events and what has been going on here at Saint Mary School and
Parish.
Many Blessings,
Saint Mary HASA Board

Participating Member Tuition Rate
As a reminder, to receive the participating member tuition rate, each Saint Mary
Parish family must contribute $1,400 directly to the school fund. You must use either
the yellow envelopes, FACTs or electronic giving so that your participation can be
tracked efficiently.
The most common question we receive is the following:
Do I still need to contribute to the weekly church collection beyond just using the
yellow envelope?
Absolutely. The expectation to financially support the church has not changed. We
encourage you to continue to contribute to the weekly offering at Mass.
We introduced the new process of the Participating Member Contribution going
directly to the School Fund so to clearly earmark the contribution for the operation of
the school and to simplify the tracking process.
As members of our church, your financial support of the church is important. Our
parish is blessed to have a parish school; the school is an integral part of our church’s
mission.
Also remember that the church subsidizes the school by giving 15% of the total
church’s weekly offering to support the school’s operation.
So the answer is yes, you should absolutely be contributing to the church in addition
to what you contribute to help run the school.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mary Beth O’Connor – Business
& Operations Manager at [email protected] or by calling the office
610 287-8156.

Day of Giving Thank you!
On behalf of the students of Saint Mary Catholic School, We
would like to thank you for your most generous donations
made during our “Many Gifts, One Nation, Day of Giv-
ing” held on January 29th and 30th. We are very excited to
report that we have exceeded our school goal of $2,500.
Thank you, to the 48 generous donors who brought our total
amount collected to $4,355 in just 24 hours! With much
prayerful consideration and research, Saint Mary School will
be purchasing one SMART Interactive Flat Panel. The cost
for one SMART interactive Flat Panel will cost us $5,000. This one day of giving helps us get one GIANT STEP closer
to our goal!! We pray that you will join us next year during
Catholic School’s week in our Day of Giving campaign so to-
gether we can all make a difference!
Thank you and God bless you,
Suzette Moyer
