O’Connor Event Clinic with David O’Connor August 1 - 2, 2020 The Details Clinic participants should plan to arrive on Friday and be ready to ride on Saturday and Sunday. One lecture will be held on Saturday morning. Small group lessons on show jumping and cross country will be offered. The clinic will be held at Sandy River Equestrian Center. Breakfast and lunch will be offered daily. Hotels, located in Danville, are a mere 20 minute drive from the farm, or you may camp on the farm at of $20 per night. Registration is easy! David consistently ranked as one of the top three day event riders in the world by the FEI. In 2004, David retired from competition to focus on other aspects of the sport taking on administrative and coaching roles. O’Connor Equestrian is dedicated to the production of event horses and development of riders from novice to Olympic level. After decades of international competition they are committed to producing the next generation of equestrian athletes. During his career, O'Connor and his horses were awarded many honors, including equestrian and horse of the year awards from several organizations. In 2009, he was inducted to the United States Eventing Association Hall of Fame, and two of his horses have been granted the same honor. Participation Cost Riding: $500 Includes personalized clinic instruction, breakfast and lunch on both days, and SWAG. Stabling: $20 per Night Camping: $20 per Night Auditing: $50 Daily Pre-register to receive all meals and SWAG. SWAG: “Stuff We All Get” will include products from our sponsors and the Equine Management Training Center.
