BUBBLEMANIA PRESENTATION

On November 7,Casey Carle visited our program and with a combination of science, art and humor, he created some amazing bubbles which wowed our students. The students learned that bubbles are spherical, and filled with air. He also demonstrated that a bubble will not burst if touched with a wet fnger however it will burst if a dry finger is used.. Casey shared with us his method for making bubbles. When the weather is warmer we will explore bubble science further on a Fun Friday.

HARVEST FESTIVALOur annual Harvest Festival was a great success. Teachers, students, their parents and friends gathered to celebrate the season of giving with some delicious food and great company. A big shout-out to anyone who brought a dish and helped out in other ways. We really appreciated the help cleaning up! The evening, which went by so fast, really captured the warmth and supportiveness of our community.Our next event, Pancakes and Pajamas, will be scheduled on a Saturday morning in the New Year.

HOLIDAY MATH GARLANDStudents K-7 contributed math facts to our holiday garland.K-1 wrote 2 math facts with an answer of 10. Grades 2-4 wrote math facts with an answer of 100.Grades 5+ created math facts with an answer of 1,000.
