Our Programs Adult ESL ProgramNorthwestern High School, Tuesdays and Thursday, 6:00-10:00 PM
Volunteers assist the instructional leader in a number of ways, from helping students pronounce words to leading students through exercises. The majority of the students are adults of a Latino heritage.

Junior Terps Afterschool Programs
Langley Park McCormick Elementary School, Fridays 2-4 PMCarole Highlands Elementary School, Fridays 2:30-4:30 PM
These programs allow volunteers from campus to work weekly with elementary children outside of school hours on culturally and creatively enriching activities. Our aim is to foster a fun educational environment for students who may not have many opportunities otherwise. These programs helps students on their reading skills, assists them in homework, and provides them with a fun activity such as arts and crafts.

Want to get involved?Come to our first general body meeting on Friday, September 3rd at 2 pm in Terp Room B in the student involvement suite (in Stamp, to the righf of the Union Shop).
If you cannot attend, simply email us with your UMD email. We will add you to our ELMs space, where you can find out more about our programs and sign up to volunteer!
