1. Is membersHIP TrAnsferAbLe?

Yes, the transer o membership is allowed and there shall be a transer ee oUS$10,000 payable by the Member upon transer o Membership. I the transerringMember ails to pay such transer ee, the intended transeree shall not be admittedas a Member o the Club. Memberships which are transerred to an *ImmediateFamily Member will not be subjected to a transer ee but an administrative ee oUS$500 shall be payable.

*Immediate Family Member refers to spouse and minor, unmarried children of a married Member and in the case of an unmarried Member; it shall mean the Member’s parents and siblings.

2. AsseT-bAcked

As membership is asset-backed, true asset protection is ensured. The club isinsulated rom any business or fnancial risks aecting the Banyan Tree Group,because the assets are held by an independent company, whose shares are held bya trustee shareholder.

3. PerPeTUITY And TrAnsferAbLe

Membership is perpetual and can be transerred or sold at any time.

4. cUrrenT And fUTUre desTInATIOns

Members have access not only to any o the existing properties in BTPC portolioall new properties that may be acquired by BTPC in the uture. Present inventorytwo to three-bedroom villas at Banyan Tree resorts in Phuket, Bali, Bintan, Seycheand Ringha; a private our-bedroom villa each in Tuscany, Italy and Provence, Fran

The Associate Villas portolio is also available or your use, increasing our existing dchoices to you.

The club has an expanding portolio o associated villas in more than 24 destinaproperties currently under development in many new destinations including KerPilos, Greece and Guilin, China.

Unlike stand-alone and unbranded luxury villa rentals, all BTPC members can be the high standard quality o the villas, which are designed to urnish guests withplace that captures the spirit and culture o each location.

The basic membership plan includes the use o a two-bedroom or larger villa within the Banyan Tree Private Collection “Own Villas” portolio or 7nights.

BTPC Golf Access - Buy one membership and get 3, we offer you thechance to enjoy our Laguna Phuket and Laguna Bintan Golf courses at nocost for the rest of your life; terms and conditions apply.

Members are entitled to discounts or spa treatments, gallery products,ood & beverage and extension o stays at Banyan Tree resorts. Additional

membership services such as re servations and inormation on destinatio nsare also provided.

Resort host and on-site concierge services at Banyan Tree Resorts.

8. Is THere A cAP On membersHIP?

Yes, there is a cap on membership. However, as the number o destinationsoered to members increase, so too will the membership cap. The expandedinventory will thereby ensure that members can continue to enjoy theirbenefts without compromise.

11. HOW fAr In AdVAnce Of mY InTended cHeck-In dATe mAY

I sUbmIT A reserVATIOn reQUesT?

The earliest that you may make a reservation request or:

Non-Peak Period

The earliest that you may make your reservation or a non-peak period is nine (9)months in advance o your intended check-in date.

Designated Peak Period

The earliest that you may make your reservation or a peak period week is twelve(12) months in advance o the frst day o the designated peak period week.

Designated peak periods are: Christmas week, New Year week, Chinese New

Year week, and Easter week. Specifc Golden Week Peak Season and other special Japanese Public Holidays apply only to our Kyoto apartment.

No peak period surcharge will apply during these periods, but the cancellationpolicy is very strict and confrmation will depend on availability. Requests areconfrmed on a frst-come, frst-served basis.

12. HOW WILL I knOW If mY reserVATIOn reQUesT HAs been

All reservation requests will be confrmed by email or ax.

13. WHAT mIgHT PreVenT me frOm secUrIng A

cOnfIrmed reserVATIOn?

Your reservation request will not be processed i you have deaulpayment o your annual dues, i you do not have the required days, or i your use rights have been suspended by the Club.

Yes. Your riends and amily are permitted to stay at the villas i ythe Club’s Central Reservations with the names and addresses o when the booking is made.

15. dOes mY membersHIP enTITLe me TO reserVe A

PArTIcULAr VILLA TYPe ?Your membership entitles you to two-bedroom or larger villas tho our “Own Villas” portolio. One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom vare available at our “Associate Villas.”

The maximum allowable occupancy or a two-bedroom villa isour adults.

However, should an extra bed be required, this is subject to the hotel’spolicy, and charges will be levied by the hotel, i applicable. The privateour-bedroom villas will accommodate eight adults.

18. Is THere AnY resTrIcTIOn On HOW I sPLIT mY

enTITLemenT sTAYs?

To allow members more exibility, their room night entitlement staysmay be split as they wish.

Annual dues will be used solely or the beneft o BTPCmembers. A major portion o the surcharge and annualdues will go towards maintaining the villas and providingmembership services, with the balance helping to coveradministration costs.

25. WHY Are bTPc AnnUAL dUes THe LOWesT In TH

IndUsTrY?

There are two reasons. Firstly, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts are rent out unoccupied BTPC villas, the rental revenues o which asubsidize annual dues. Secondly, maintenance costs o BTPC’s viBanyan Tree resorts beneft rom the economies o scale achievresorts.
